The aim of the investigation is to determine prognostic criteria of the course of chronic gastroduodenitis in young patients based on the analysis of dysregenerative process in duodenal mucosa in the same patients at school age. Materials and Methods. There were examined 24 patients with chronic gastroduodenitis (CGD) in exacerbation, aged 7-14 years. And 18-20 years later 20 patients of the same group were examined outpatiently. Results. The revealed parallels of morphological changes in duodenal mucosa in the same patients in childhood and in adults suggest that the presence of recurrent diffuse inflammatory process characterizing severe duodenitis at school age causes persistent structural changes. The shortening of villi contours, the decrease of crypts volume, and morphometrical confirmation of the monomorphic character of epithelial layer and cellular spectrum of lamina propria taking into account leiomyocyti in the gradient "villus-crypt" are informative criteria complex that allows suggesting duodenal mucosa atrophy. The aim of the investigation is to study endogenous intoxication (EI) as one of the mechanisms of the pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) in children and substantiation of efferent therapy. Materials and methods. There has been performed the clinical observation of 25 children with IBD aged 5-17 years and 40 children with chronic constipation of various intensity. There have been carried out a complete clinic laboratory examination to assess EI intensity and determined the substances of low and medium molecular mass (SLMMM) on erythrocytes, in blood plasma and urine. Results. IBD in children has been stated to be accompanied by EI, the intensity of which is due to the severity of the process and depends on the character of the involvement. The use of enterosorbtion in patients with IBD reduces the toxic load on the systems of natural detoxication and the risk of infectious and autoimmune complications. Source

The aim of the study is to assess the dynamics of clinical and endoscopic indexes of gastric and duodenal mucus, as well as vegetative regulation after complex therapy of gastrointestinal pathology including SCENAR-therapy in young children and preschool children. Materials and methods. 44 children aged 2-5 years with chronic duodenitis and gastroduodenitis were examined. Half of them had traditional treatment, while the therapy of others included SCENAR-therapy. Conclusion. SCENAR-therapy included into complex therapy of duodenites and gastroduodenites in young children and preschool children is marked by evident positive clinical dynamics and improvement of vegetative nervous system indexes enhancing adaptive possibilities of the body.
