To meet the requirements of high strength and low-temperature impact performance of cast steel materials which used to marine tooling, the chemical composition and heat treatment on the material grades were adjusted and optimized on the basis of ASTM A148 105-85. The chemical composition of the material was determined: 0.25%C, 0.5% Si, 0.9% Mn, P≤0.02%, S≤0.01%, 0.7%Cr, 0.50%Mo, 0.70%Ni. Heat treatment process is: quenching+subcritical temperature quenching + high tempering. By adjusting and optimizing, the tensile strength of material reaches 810 MPa, yield strength 621 MPa, elongation of 20%, reduction rate of 47%, impact energies at -20 ℃ and -40 ℃ reach 73 J and 42 J, respectively.
