Jinshu Rechuli/Heat Treatment of Metals | Year: 2015

Contionuous cooling transformation behavior of 7CrMnMoS steel was investigated by dilatometry and metallography hardness tests. The results show that the austenite transformation products are pearlite when the cooling rate is lower than 25℃/h. Those will be totally martensite if the cooling rate is higher than 14℃/s, and the maximum Vichers hardness reaches 875 HV5. ©, 2015, Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society of Heat Treatment.
