A disease predicting apparatus and a disease predicting method are provided. The disease predicting apparatus includes a first parameter acquiring unit configured to acquire a first parameter indicating a biological condition of a subject, a second parameter acquiring unit configured to acquire a second parameter indicating another biological condition of the subject or the like, a statistical value calculating unit configured to calculate a statistical value indicating relationships between the first parameter and the second parameter, a storage unit storing definition information that defines a sign of a disease by the relationships between the first parameter and the second parameter, and an analyzing unit configured to analyze a sign of a disease of the subject based on a temporal change of the statistical value and the definition information.


A biological information measuring apparatus includes a blood pressure pulse wave measuring unit configured to measure a blood pressure pulse wave of a subject, a unit pulse wave producing unit configured to produce unit pulse waves of a certain unit from the blood pressure pulse wave based on an analysis of heart beats of the subject, a unit pulse wave extracting unit configured to analyze the unit pulse waves produced by the unit pulse wave producing unit and to extract only necessary unit pulse waves in accordance with the analysis, and an output unit configured to perform an output based on the unit pulse waves extracted by the unit pulse wave extracting unit.


The disclosed subject matter related to methods and apparatus for determining brain swelling in a patient as well as predicting an increase in intracranial pressure in the patient. The apparatus can include a transducer such as an ultrasound transducer communicatively connected to a controller via wires or via wireless communications device(s). A monitor and/or alarm device can be provided to notify a practitioner when the controller has determined brain swelling is occurring and/or when an imminent increase in intracranial pressure is likely to occur.


A hydrogen molecule therapy apparatus includes: a hydrogen molecule-containing gas generating unit which is configured to generate a hydrogen molecule-containing gas containing hydrogen molecule; a hydrogen molecule-containing mist generating unit which is configured to generate a hydrogen molecule-containing mist containing hydrogen molecule; and an outputting unit which is configured to simultaneously output the hydrogen molecule-containing gas generated by the hydrogen molecule-containing gas generating unit, and the hydrogen molecule-containing mist generated by the hydrogen molecule-containing mist generating unit.
