Generalized Predictive Control (GPC) has a strong ability of overcoming load disturbance, random noise and delay change, and the selected model has less parameter. But it also has some problems such as big amount of calculation and no consideration on both rapidity and over modulation. An adaptive direct GPC method is proposed based on LSSVR and tracking error. This method uses LS-SVR method to design predictive controller, and uses a modified projection algorithm based on tracking error to adjust the weight of LS-SVR adaptively, in order to avoid the calculating of the inverse matrix. The result indicates that the method is not only very effective but also reduces the calculation amount. Source

According to the rules on knowledge base, maintenance personnel can use a variety of diagnostics information when one failure occurs in complex system, in order to determine the failure mode of the system by reasoning and implement the fault location and troubleshooting quickly and accurately. Firstly, the framework of intelligent diagnostics based on knowledge reasoning is built, then creation, structure, and updating of knowledge base are analyzed, and then the diagnostics model and reasoning mechanisms are analyzed, and the diagnostics reasoning process is given. Least Square Support Vector Machine (LS-SVM) is an important machine of Support Vector Machine (SVM). But this method can not be used for online identification, and maybe lead to calculation inflation. A gradient recursive method of LS-SVM is presented by combining the LS-SVM method with the gradient method. This method can overcome the influence of bad data to the parameter estimation, has a stronger robustness, and improves the calculation speed of LS-SVM. A time-varying channel coefficients of data-directed equalization algorithm (VCC-DDEA) is proposed for single tone narrow-band high frequency communication. The channel coefficient is estimated at each symbol sampling time based on adaptive tracking algorithm. The inter-symbol interface caused by training sequences is eliminated, then the user data is estimated as well based on least sum square error (LSSE) criterion. The demand that the channel coefficients being constant for DDEA in the frame is broken through VCC-DDEA and a conspicuous performance improvement is obtained. Source

Based on the system-of-systems (SoS) engineering theory, the composition and conceptual model of equipment SoS process was analyzed. The modeling methods for SoS process were developed based on U.S. DoDAF1.5 (Department of Defense Architecture Framework). A brief example of ground attack SoS of shipboard aircraft on Nimitz aircraft carrier was given to illustrate the detailed modeling and analysis procedure of SoS process, the simulation and analysis was employed by ExSpect simulation software that is based on timed colored Petri Nets. © 2012 IEEE.
