The absence of reusability and scalability on the software system of the business process management is much associated with the software system architecture. Considering the JBPM (Java Business Process Management) having good features for the workflow design, so a good process management system architecture are built based on JBPM and J2EE framework technology. The architecture in this research is mainly built on the J2EE lightweight components framework like SSH2 (Struts2 + Spring + Hibernate), and it is designed in a Model-View-Controller software mode. A reusable system is built based on above architecture, and it is applied to a company management system of foreign affairs and a command and control system. The results show that the system in this architecture has well reusability and expansibility. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH.

It is a difficult task to rank order from various kinds of alternatives by means of experts' judgments and the statistics data. One of the best important reasons is that each of the alternatives has its own advantages and disadvantages; we cannot evaluate them in a simple index. And therefore, there is a need to research a valid evaluation method. For the sake of TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) having some capability to settle the problem. We build an evaluation model on the basis of TOPSIS to apply in the companies' evaluation. By way of getting the original data from the annual statistics data, the efficiency of eight electric companies in M City is evaluated based on the model, and make a rank from best to worst, and the evaluation results show feasible in real condition. © 2014 WIT Press.
