in view of the specialty of sparse woven fabric, a particular method of testing slippage resistance force of yarns has been designed. Several woven fabrics with different yarns count, friction coefficient, warp density and weft density and woven texture had been tested. The influencing factors for warp and weft slippage resistance force had been discussed and analyzed. © (2011) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

A method for analysis of dihardenedtallowdimethyl ammonium compounds (DHTDMAC) was established by high performance liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-ESI-MS/MS). The mass spectrometric fragmentation mechanism of DHTDMAC was analyzed based on the information of characteristic parent ions and daughter ions, which were obtained from ESI and tandem mass spectrometry. Sixteen components of DHTDMAC were deduced. The components and fragmentation mechanism of DHTDMAC were verified by neutral loss mass scanning, parent ions scanning and daughter ions scanning. As the chromatography conditions were optimized, the analysis of the target compounds was performed under electrospray positive ion source and multiple reaction monitoring mode (MRM). This study identified different alkyl chain lengths and carbon numbers of dihardenedtallowdimethyl ammonium compounds. The method was simple and fast, which was established to detect different component of DHTDMAC. It can provide testing basis for the kind of compounds in environment, chemical products and consumer products, etc, which is helpful for the in-depth research and quality control of DHTDMAC. ©, 2014, Journal of Chinese Mass Spectrometry Society. A method was developed for the determination of four organotin compounds including dibutyltin(DBT), triphenyltin(TPhT), tributyltin(TBT) and dioctyltin(DOT) in poly(lactic acid) materials by accelerated solvent extraction-high performance liquid chromatography-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer(ASE-HPLC-ICP-MS). The crushed samples were extracted for 10 min under 120 ℃ by ASE, methanol-water-acetic acid mixture(65∶23∶12, V/V/V) as the extraction solvent. The filtered extract was eluted on Agilent TC-C18 column using the mobile phase of methanol and 35% acetic acid aqueous solution(3.0% triethylamine) gradient elution, which was determined by ICP-MS. The mass concentration of organotin compounds has a linear range of 1-100 μg/L for DBT, TPhT and TBT, 3-300 μg/L for DOT with good correlation coefficients (r2≥0.999). The limits of quantitation (LOQs) are 30.0, 33.3, 55.0, 101.7 μg/kg for DBT, TPhT, TBT and DOT, respectively. The average spiked recoveries are 82.7%-88.4%, 89.5%-91.5%, 91.6%-103.5% at the level of LOQ, five times the LOQ and the limit values of Oeko-tex Standard 100, respectively, with the relative standard deviations(RSDs) of 4.3%-7.8%. The method is simple, effective, reliable and highly sensitive, which can meet the requirements of the domestic and international legislations, and can be used to determine organotin residues in poly(lactic acid) materials. ©, 2014, Chinese Society for Mass Spectrometry. An integrated cotton Eber quality index (ICFQI) model with cotton fiber qualities which can directly express cotton fiber integrated quality and spinning yarn quality was studied. The fiber length, strength, Micronaire (fiber fineness and fiber maturity), uniformity of fiber length, and short fiber content are the pivotal indexes expressing ICFQI. All of the results above are the basic knowledge to build up the models of ICFQI. According to spinning consistency index ( SCI ), spinning strength and spinning yarn integrated quality, ICFQI was the best choice. As the methods of ICFQI had quite a lot of advantages like explicit mechanism, few independent variables. The integrated fiber quality index had a significant positive correlation with yarn strength and spinning consistency, significant negative correlation with yarn evenness and yarn thin places. In additional, the model of the relationship between ICFQI and SCI was established as : SCI = 0.2356 ICFQI +56.153. It was concluded that ICFQI value was the shared reference index for the testing of fiber inspection agency and the selection and distribution of raw cotton bales by textile mills.

A method has been developed for the determination of di (hydrogenated tallow alkyl) dimethyl ammonium compounds (DHTDMAC) in textile auxiliaries by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS). The samples were extracted and diluted with acidified methanol by 5% (v/v) formic acid under ultrasonic assistance. The separation was performed on an Eclipse Plus C18 column (50 mm ×2.1 mm, 1.8 μm) using 0.1% (v/v) formic acid solution and methanol as the mobile phases. Identification and quantification were achieved by UPLC-MS/MS with electrospray ionization (ESI) source in positive ion mode and multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode. The results indicated that the calibration curve of DHTDMAC showed good linear relationship between peak area and mass concentration in the range of 10-280 μg/L with the correlation coefficient (r2) of 0.999 1. The limit of detection (LOD, S/N = 3) and the limit of quantification (LOQ, S/N = 10) of this method were 3 mg/kg and 10 mg/kg, respectively. The average recoveries from three typical textile auxiliary matrices including dispersant, anti-static agent and fabric softener, at three spiked levels were in the range of 97.2% - 108.3% with the relative standard deviations (RSDs) of 1.5% - 4.6%. The method is sensitive, accurate, simple and effective for the analysis of DHTDMAC in textile auxiliaries.
