Biogene methods of fertility increase in restored technogenic territories are analyzed in article. Use of sapropel, biologically active foams, a biohumus belong to such directions. These technological decisions are developed on experimental base of National mineral-resources university, Saint-Petersburg, and introduced on open cast mine complexes on northwest part of the Russian Federation. The considerable attention is given to a worm technology. It is the progressive biotechnology directed on processing of an organic waste by means of rain kopost worms Eisenia Foetida. As a result of its application highly effective fertilizer a biohumus is formed. Within researches it is established that the biohumus when mixing with sodium salt carboxymethylcellulose in a proportion 125:1 can create ecologically active mix. This mix is put on raising dust technogenic territorial surfaces. It possesses high bioefficiency. As a result dust pollution essentially decreases. The fulfilled technogenic territories turns into a secondary ecosystem. Worm technology division into Russian districts became research result. Such division into districts allows to allocate zones in which it is necessary to use the various technological directions of a worm technology. © 2013 IJED. Source

The method of parameters calculation of mine openings thermal insulation in underground facilities of cryolithic zone was developed. The mine openings of spherical and cylindrical symmetry are considered. All the formulas are obtained in a dimensionless form that allows to select the necessary parameters of thermal protection coatings through Biot number. The case of thermal protection coatings characteristics selection was considered; this case does not allow thawing of rocks throughout the entire period of facility operation. Source

The analysis of data on operation of the underground collector tunnel located in frozen aqueous soil was carried out. It is established that misuse and design errors caused accident conditions of the tunnel due to the progressing thawing of frozen soil. The new scheme of tunnel aeration during the winter period of year was suggested. The optimum air flow rate providing the optimum thermal conditions in a tunnel excluding progressive thawing of frozen soil in a zone of thermal influence was determined. Source

Nowadays, employees and teachers of Chemical and Metallurgical Faculty (Faculty of Processing of Mineral Resources), using modern equipment and applying innovative approaches, carry on the traditions of scientific development of great scientists. The method of the wall stopping optimum thickness calculation, including thermally-insulated wall stopping separating underground openings with various thermal conditions, was suggested. It was shown that the selection of wall stopping optimal parameters leads to significant energy costs saving for maintaining of the microclimate specified parameters in the mine opening. © 2015.
