An extension algorithm, exponentially weighted dynamic principal component analysis (EWDPCA) algorithm is proposed to monitor the dynamic process, in particular for disturbances and set points changes in process. The technique is validated through simulation in the process of actual chemical polymerization. The results show that the EWDPCA algorithm can eliminate the linear relationship among variables and reflect the real-time information in dynamic process. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.

In this paper, we introduce a novel visible/infrared image registration algorithm based on wavelet transform and the maximization of mutual information of images. First, the region of interest (ROI) is determined by searching for the wavelet magnitude maxima in the preprocessing step, and the affine transform is chosen as the image geometrical transform model. Then, the probability density function of grey values is estimated from histogram by means of the Partial Volume (PV) interpolation method. Finally, the simulated annealing algorithm is used to approximate the global optimum. The experimental results show that the algorithm is efficient. © 2010 IEEE.

In this paper, the analytic hierarchy theory and fuzzy mathematics method from ergonomics perspective were used to research reliability of the electrical safety evaluation system from coal mining enterprises. In view of ambiguity and randomness of the evaluation system, the multilevel electrical hazard evaluation system was established and the objective weights were calculated on expert consultation method. Finally, the evaluation procedure and evaluation model from a large coal mining enterprises was given. The experimental results show that the evaluation system has a certain engineering value. © (2011) Trans Tech Publications.

Sewage from our campus was needed to treat urgently due the affect of sewage on the environment becoming more and more seriously. This paper proposes a method of Sequencing Batch Reactor Activated Sludge Process to meet the needs of campus. Therefore, the method is so complicated that only automatic control part was realized. Strengths of Sequencing Batch Reactor Activated Sludge Process were played. PLC controller from Mitsubishi FX2N Series was used in the automatic control system of sewage treatment with stable operation, low cost, good effect and so on. © 2012 IEEE.

In this paper, the advantages and disadvantages of traditional PID controller and fuzzy logic controller algorithm were analyzed on the control characteristics of electric furnace. According to the intelligent control theory, fuzzy PID (Fuzzy-PID) compound control was selected to realize intelligent control of electric furnace with two-input and two-output system. Based on real temperature control system, an intelligent control system with PID control and fuzzy control was designed. It has some adaptive abilities, strong robustness and stability and can be applied in the system which is difficult to be built as an exact mathematical model. © 2010 IEEE.

In this study, the spatial distributions of the emission intensity of OH (A2Σ → X2Π, 0-0) and N2 + (B2Σu + → X 2Σg +, 0-0, 391.4 nm) are investigated in the atmospheric pressure pulsed streamer discharge of H2O and N 2 mixture in a needle-plate reactor configuration. The effects of O2 flow rate on the spatial distributions of the emission intensity of OH (A2Σ → X2Π, 0-0), N2 + (B2Σu + → X 2Σg +, 0-0, 391.4 nm), and the vibrational temperature of N2 (C) in the lengthwise direction from needle to plate are attained. It is found that the emission intensities of OH (A 2Σ → X2Π, 0-0) and N2 + (B2Σu + → X2Σ g +, 0-0, 391.4 nm) decrease with increasing O2 flow rate. In the direction from needle to plate, the emission intensity of OH (A2Σ → X2Π, 0-0) decreases firstly, and rises near the plate electrode, while the emission intensity of N 2 + (B2Σu + → X2Σg +, 0-0, 391.4 nm) is nearly constant along the needle to plate direction firstly, and rises sharply near the plate electrode. The main physicochemical processes involved are discussed. ©2010 IEEE.

The topology structure of one to m uItipoint, the transmission mode of passive optical, the multipoint access method of control media based on the high-speed Ethernetbased platform and time division multiplexing technology (TOM) and other techniques were used in the EPON. Many large operators have been in favor of many advantages from EPON for its low-cost, mature technology, and compatibility of Ethernet. In this paper, the network structure and basic composition of EPON were studied, the deployment of broadband networks in the future were predicted combine with the working principle of EPON. Finally, the key issues of broadband access technologies from EPON need to be resolved were summarized. © 2010 IEEE.

Fuzzy controller of temperature was designed in the inverter air-condition with dual purpose both cold and hot. The control system of inverter air conditioner was divided two parts, that is, indoor machine and the outdoor machine. The frequency control of indoor and outside machine was realized by control software in the foundation of hardware circuit design. Fuzzy control program was selected, two-dimensional temperature controller was designed. PID fuzzy controller suitable for real-time control was proposed in this paper. Finally, the practicability of self-adjust PID fuzzy controller was confirmed by simulation curve. It was shown that self-adjust PID fuzzy controller had a better control performance than conventional fuzzy control methods. © 2010 IEEE.

In this paper, we have used the Sequencing Batch Reactor Activated Sludge Process to meet the needs of drainage control system, but the method was so complicated. Only automatic control part of this method was realized, strengths of Sequencing Batch Reactor Activated Sludge Process were played. Programmable Logic Controller from Mitsubishi FX2N Series was used in the automatic control system of sewage treatment with stable operation, low cost, good effect and so on. © 2014 Taylor & Francis Group.
