This photodetection device (100) comprises: a time-delay adjustment means (10) into which is input an optical signal that is a detection object; an optical frequency comb generator (20) that generates an optical frequency comb; a photomixer (30) that photomixes optical signal series which are sequentially output from the time delay adjustment means (10) and which were subjected to time adjustment, and the optical frequency comb signal which is output from the optical frequency comb generator (20); and a photodetector (40) that detects the mixed signal output from the photomixer (30). The time delay adjustment means (10) performs time adjustment on the optical signal series so that each of the time adjusted optical signal series is photomixed with the optical frequency comb at different timings in the photomixer (30).

In presenting a fragrance, an air is sent into the fragrance chamber 14 from the air inlet 26 by the airflow source 16, and accordingly, the air within the fragrance chamber 14, which including a gas-like fragrance component volatilized from the fragrance source 20 is emitted from the emitting port 22 passing through the fragrance outlet 24. An operation noise suppressing portion (18) is provided upstream of the airflow source (16), characterised in that said operation noise suppressing portion (18) comprises a cavity portion for directing the air to the airflow source and partitioned by a partitioning wall.

Conventionally wavelength demultiplexing has been possible only when a radio over fiber signal has a single prescribed frequency interval, but with the present invention it is possible to handle cases in which the frequency interval of the radio over fiber signal is changed. This wavelength demultiplexer is equipped with a spectroscopic means (which separates light that is input from multiple input light paths, and outputs the light to multiple output light paths) and a light path switching device (a device that switches the light paths that are input to the light means, with the switching being performed by an external operation), and the light path switching device may be a device that distributes the input from one input port to multiple output ports. The light path switching device and the spectroscopic means are polarization-independent, with the input light paths, the output light paths, and the light paths between the light path switching device and the spectroscopic means being polarization-maintaining light paths, so the relative polarization configuration is the same for the input light and the output light. Furthermore, a wavelength-multiplexed signal can be obtained by inputting light from the output side and outputting light from the input side.

Accordingly, it is possible to learn a model that can realize an accurate translation.
