Since the significant impact of wind farm's collector voltage sequence on the construction and operation costs of wind farms, the economic optimization of collector voltage class series of wind farm is researched. The whole process of the economic optimization of collector voltage class sequence of wind farm is proposed, and an evaluation model for the economic optimization of collector voltage class sequence of wind farm is established. In this model the sum of annual construction and operation costs of wind farm is taken as the objective function, and the constraints such as the capacity of wind farm substations and the transmission capacity limits of high- and medium-voltage transmission lines are considered, and the boundary conditions to perform the economic evaluation are given. Finally, the case analysis on a wind farm with capacity of 600 MW is carried out to verify the validity of the proposed method, and further the impacts of total capacity of wind farm and wind power energy density on the optimization result of collector voltage class series are analyzed. ©, 2015, Power System Technology Press. With the large-scale construction of UHV DC power transmission projects, the correlation between AC and DC systems will be further enhanced, and the interaction between AC and DC fault will become increasingly complex. In this paper, taking ±800 kV DC system from Xiangjiaba to Shanghai for example, the power downhill event occurred in trans-regional DC power network is simulated, and based on the comparative analysis on actual event, during which the security and stability control equipments act or do not act, the influences of action and no action of security and stability control equipments is discussed. From three aspects, i.e., planning and construction, technology application and operational control, the measures to mitigate the impact of fault occurred in DC power transmission system on AC power transmission system are explored.
