The present invention provides a method for identifying images of brain function. In the beginning, choosing one of the brain data collected by multichannel scalp EEG/MEG, and using a mode decomposition method to obtain a plurality of intrinsic mode functions for each brain data, transforming the intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) in the same frequency scale into a plurality of source IMFs across the cerebral cortex by a source reconstruction algorithm, and classifying each source IMF in the same frequency scale into a plurality of frequency regions corresponding to the different brain sites. Then, repeatedly choosing a source IMF, and obtaining an amplitude envelope line through each absolution value of the source IMF. Further to obtain a plurality of source first-layer amplitude IMFs decomposed from the function of the amplitude envelope line by the mode decomposition method. Until obtaining the source first-layer amplitude IMFs from each source IMF, classifying each source first-layer amplitude IMF in the same amplitude frequency scale into a plurality of amplitude frequency regions corresponding to the different brain sites. In the end, a brain amplitude modulation spectrum is provided for analyzing the relationship between each frequency region and each amplitude frequency region.

The invention provides a molecule carrier, comprising a metal-organic framework having an interior space and a surface of the metal-organic framework has a plurality of pores; and a molecule embedded in the interior space of the metal-organic framework. The invention also provides a method for preparing the molecule carrier by a de novo approach, comprising mixing a solution containing metal ions, an organic ligand, a molecule, and a surface coating agent to form an aqueous mixture. An image processing method of two-photon structured illumination point scanning microscopy is disclosed. The image processing method includes the following steps: providing a laser light source; performing scanning and recording; and performing image reconstruction. The laser light source, which has photon energy that is half of the energy needed to let a molecule of a sample make a transition from ground state to a first excited state, is focused onto a focal plane of the sample. Then, the laser light source is accompanied with an image recording system to perform a plurality of segmented scanning and image recordings on the sample to generate a plurality of structured illumination images. Those structured illumination images are reconstructed to generate microscopic image of the sample. With the implementation of the present invention, the interference from image signal on the non-focal plane can be effectively reduced, thereby enhancing the resolution of microscopic image.

The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a photovoltaic device having an ultra-shallow junction layer. In the method, a crystalline silicon substrate is cleaned and a first doped semiconductor layer with 1.12 eV bandgap and 580 nm of thickness is grown on the crystalline silicon substrate by high density plasma electron cyclotron resonance CVD in a preparation condition of a temperature of the crystalline silicon substrate ranging from 50 C. to 250 C. , about 500W of microwave power, deposition pressure below 50 mTorr, about 20 sccm of argon and hydrogen flow rate, SiH_(4 )flow rate ranging from 1 sccm to 2 sccm, and 2% boroethane flow rate ranging from about 5 seem to 15 sccm. The photovoltaic device of the present invention has advantages of abrupt homo-junction, ultra-thin high-crystallinity silicon-based thin film, highly-doped concentration, high conductivity and high short-circuit current, thereby having improved efficiency.

The invention discloses a method and a system for quickly and directly processing an original signal into a plurality of mode functions, the steps comprises: decomposing the original signal by Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) method to choose a first intrinsic mode functions (IMFs). Then, adding the plurality of level n conjugate masking functions, which are selected from a group of sinusoidal functions comprising the mean amplitude and the mean frequency of the first IMF, to the original signal individually to obtain level n mode functions, until the level n mode function is a monotonic function, wherein the plurality of mode functions are the IMFs between each frequency regions of the original signal. The invention not only includes the advantage of EMD analyzing, but also excludes the problem of mode mixing phenomenon which is caused by the intermittent disturbance.

A method for meta-analyzing genomewide expression data sets comprises the following steps. First, to gather a plurality of genomewide expression data sets. Next, to identify a list of differentially expressed genes from each data set and to derive a set of overrepresentation statistics from each list. Then, to combine the sets of overrepresentation statistics across the data sets and to perform overrepresentation analysis based on the combined overrepresentation statistics. The overrepresentation analysis gives a p-value to each synergic gene group for testing correlation between the synergic gene group and the phenomenon under study.
