The invention discloses a global optimization and dispatching method based on time scales. The time scale based global optimization and dispatching method disclosed herein, relies on a target value system and a dispatch model. The global optimization and dispatching method depends on the results from a variety of subtopics. The methods provide adjustment and optimization in accordance with the time scales that are given in the sub goal of each sub topic: long-term, mid-long-term, short-term, ultra short term and real time optimization. Smart distribution grid can improve operational efficiency, integrated application of new elements in the distribution network of distribution energy network, micro grid, energy storage device and non-linear loads. This invention is fully adapted to the smart grid trends, with a good prospective.

An effective image content temper detection scheme that uses perfect hash model is proposed in this paper.Aiming at low detection failing rates and high detection successful rates in image tamper localization, the proposed scheme uses perfect hash model to overcome easy collisions of the random numbers to enhance the effectiveness in authentication procedure.This scheme embeds perfect hash information in the LSBs of the original image to protect image content.The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed scheme has a good performance and can be used for image authentication applications. © Springer Science+Business Media Singapore 2016.

There is a restriction on the development of power quality monitoring software for lacking of corresponding technical specification and uniform systematic planning. In this thesis, the concept of supporting platform of power quality monitoring and analysis system is posed and the supporting platform provides data service, report work, authority management, alarm service, authority management, communication service and other public services; abiding by the advocacy of IEC 61970 Standard, the system applies CORBA component technology inside and outside the system and realizes the "plug and play" of public services and applications. Through the standardized public communication service module, the data interaction with other power quality monitoring software, PMS system, DMS/EMS system and other third-party systems is completed and the multi-angle and deep power quality analysis are conducted based on multi-source information fusion technology and the power quality analysis and evaluation, harmonic source location, power quality warning, management decision support and other intelligent analysis application are realized. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Relay logic diagram analysis is the core function of graphic-oriented programming software. There are many feedback loops in relay logic diagram. Topological sort can't be applied to relay logic diagram analysis directly because of the feedback loops. Now, most of graphic-oriented programming softwares solve the problem by manual intervention. Aiming at the problem, this paper delves into the topology analysis based on activity on vertex directed diagram (AOV) networks and proposes the directed loop diagram analysis algorithm based on feedback component. This algorithm achieves looping-off automatically and solves the difficulties of analysis and processing of the loop diagram. The mechanism has the characteristics of easy implementation, better generalization and high reliability, and is adopted in the relay-protection development.

This paper describes the classical individual pitch control algorithm. Firstly, transform the out-of-plane bending moment of each blade in the rotational coordinate to the hub loads proportional to the tilt and yaw moment in the fixed coordinate. Secondly, design the PI controllers to minimize the load. And then attach the increment pitch angle to the collective one. Simulations in the Bladed show that the individual pitch control can minimize the loads not only in hub tilt and yaw, but also in blade root. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

The probability distribution of wind speed and availability of wind farms are investigated considering the vertical wind shear. Wind speed at extended height (60 m) was generated from that of reference height (10 m) through the Power-law Process. The least square (LS) method, maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) method and modified method are used to estimate the parameters of Weibull distribution. Then the goodness-of-fit and wind energy characteristic indices are deduced. It shows that MLE and modified MLE method are superior to LS method in parameter-estimating, and wind speed distribution at different height changes with wind shear. The rationality and effectiveness of the modified method are verified from the case study. © 2015, Institution of Engineering and Technology. All rights reserved.

Pumped storage power plants have lots of functions such as load peak adjusting, load valley filling, frequency and phase regulation, emergency duty, flood protection, etc. They also have advantages of operating flexibility and fast response characteristics. Apparently they may play more and more important roles in construction of smart power grid today. In addition, control strategies and major components' design principle of large pumped storage unit excitation system are introduced. It is in favor of promoting development of domestic large pumped storage units' excitation systems and provides reference to design of similar excitation systems.

An important feature of smart distribution different from traditional distribution network is to support a large number of distributed generation (DG) access. Modeling and scheduling control problems of DG need to be resolved on distribution automation system in the smart grid. In this paper, effect of DG on distribution network is analyzed first, and DG access requirements for distribution automation system are put forward. Considering the DG characteristics and scheduling control requirements for distribution automation system, DG modeling method and scheduling control function design are proposed on distribution automation system according to IEC 61968 modeling principles. Correctness of modeling method and feasibility of control principle are verified through using them in pilot project on OPEN-3200 distribution automation management system. © 2012 IEEE.

According to the shortage of systemic experimental enviromen for fault line selection method, it puts forward a test and research method based on RTDS. A systemic experimental enviroment consists of simulation models and automatic equipment, and the simulation models are built on RTDS, which can simulate kinds of typical fault and can output the analog signals. Through many types of tests, the test methods are proved feasible, and the algorithm of fault line selection are also proved exact and practical. © 2012 IEEE.
