The isothermal oxidation kinetic and oxidation behavior of Ni-based superalloy GH202 were investigated at temperatures from 800 °C to 1100 °C. The microstructure of GH202 was characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and electron back-scattered diffraction (EBSD). The composition and morphologies of oxide scales of the surface and cross-section samples were examined by X-ray diffraction (XRD), electron probe microanalysis (EPMA), and SEM combined with energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). The results show that the growth of the oxide scales on GH202 obeyed a parabolic law with an activation energy of 247.8 KJ·mol- 1 from 800 °C to 1100 °C. The continuous and dense oxide scales that formed at 800 °C and 900 °C were composed of Cr2O3, NiCr2O4 and a small amount of TiO2. Beneath the oxide scales, aluminum-rich oxides formed along the grain boundaries due to internal oxidation. After treatment at 1000 °C for 150 h, the oxide scale was separated into two layers, the outer layer with sparse holes that was mainly composed of Cr2O3 and TiO2 and an inner layer of dense Cr2O3. At 1100 °C for 100 h the outer layer was spalled, due to the looser oxide scale with large blocks of TiO2 and NiCr2O4 which provided channels for oxygen diffusion. © 2016 Elsevier Inc. In many complex systems such as distributed multi-sensor systems, different sensors may work with multiple sampling periods. In this paper, the problem of fault detection for this kind of systems is considered. Firstly, by mapping the multirate measurements onto fast time instants, a new measurement equation with variable dimensions is obtained. Based on this, a multirate Kalman filter based residual generator is designed to deliver residual signal at a fast rate, which is further evaluated in a dynamic window. The proposed scheme has no need to process some troublesome issues such as noise correlation and causality constrains caused by traditional lifting technique. A numerical simulation is presented to illustrate our approach. Source

The effects of pulse magnetic field pretreatment on the structure and the crystallization process of amorphous alloy (Fe74 Ga2P9.65B4.6Si3C6.75)98 Nb2 were investigated by XRD and DSC. Furthermore, the magnetic properties were also analyzed by VSM. The results show that after pulse magnetic field pretreatment, there exists some atomic clusters and small amount of crystallized phases segregation in samples. When the samples are crystallized, precipitates are increased with decrease of the average grain size, and the crystallization area is increased with increasing in the processing time. The VSM test results indicate that the coercivity and remanence ratio of samples are reduced significantly after pulse magnetic field pretreatment, indicating more excellent integrated magnetic properties. ©, 2015, Journal Office of Special Casting and Nonferrous Alloys. A pilot-scale modified SBR process was investigated to treat urban wastewater. The average NH + 4-N efficiency removal was 98 %. The average TN removal efficiency was 52 %. The average effluent NH + 4-N was 0.34 mg/L. The average effluent TN was 12 mg/L. The average effluent phosphorus was 0.75 mg/L. The average effluent COD was 35 mg/L. The result showed that the ratio of influent NH + 4-N /TN was equal approximately to TN removal efficiency. The TN removal ratio was decided by the influent NH + 4-N. The long anaerobic time was benefit to the nitrogen removal. The optimal anaerobic time should be set at 1 hour. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland. Source
