In order to obtain modified cellulose acetate fibers that could improve the sensory quality of cigarette, a modified filter tow was produced via adding flavored humectants into spinning oil. The effects of four humectants (A-unsaturated fatty acid, B-polyoxyethylene sulfonate, C-Amaranthaceae extract, D-glucosidase) on the modified spinning oils were analyzed by blue light detection, Zeta potentiometry and laser particle size analysis, the corresponding modified tows were subjected to smoke analysis and sensory evaluation. The results showed that: 1) Zeta potential was the main indicator characterizing the stability of spinning oil modified by flavored humectants, the stability of spinning oil improved along with the increase of Zeta potential. Comparing with the control, the blue light phenomenon of the modified oils weakened, their particle size increased. 2)The physicochemical properties of the modified tows were identical to those of normal tow and satisfied the quality requirements for cigarette filter tow. 3) Comparing with normal tow, the sensory quality of cigarette samples with modified tows promoted slightly, while smoke filtration efficiency decreased slightly. The mixture ratio between host crystal and curing agent of PU resin is calculated by adopting the particle reaction principle based on the same equivalent weight. The results show that the mixture ratio between host crystal and curing agent of PU resin is 100:20~100:26. By the analysis of DSC cures, viscositytemperature cures, viscositytime cures and the gelatin time under 25°C, the best mixture ratio of 100:20 is confirmed. In order to test and verify its operational performance, the adhesive strength between the resin and the pipeline wall was simulated and tested. The results show that the adhesive strength of the resin with mixture ratio of 100:20 is so high that it can meet the requirements of the pipeline lining rehabilitation technology.

Fabrication of crimped fibers has been caught much attention recently due to remarkable improvement surface-to-volume ratio. The precise mechanism of the fiber crimp is, however, rare and preliminary. This paper finds that pulsation of fibers is the key factor for fiber crimp, and its configuration (wave formation) corresponds to its nature frequency after solidification. Crimping performance can be improved by temperature control of the uncrimped fibers. In the paper, polylactide/ dimethylfomamide solution is fabricated into crimped nanofibers by the bubble electrospinning, an approximate period- amplitude relationship of the wave formation is obtained.

This paper firstly introduces the standard models and key control techniques of microgrids. And then the battery energy storage and superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) charge-discharge principles and control strategies are discussed, and further more build the simulation models in PSCAD/EMTDC to analyze dynamic characteristics. A combination of energy storage model is built based on the different characteristics, and realize the unity of control. The study is focused on the operational characteristics of microgrids and composite energy storages during the process of connected operation switching to isolated operation and again to the connected operation. The results show that the composite energy storage has both the two energy storage advantages, it can response rapidly, balance the power flow, stable voltage fluctuation and meet the load demand of power supply. It ensures the stable operation of microgrids. © 2016 IEEE.

In this paper, the electrospinning of regenerated cellulose acetate (short as CA), acetone as the solvent, was basically studied, and the electrospinning setup used was self-designed. In order to explore the present condition of electrospun cellulose acetate nanofibers, the effect of traditional processing parameters on the cellulose acetate nanofibers was paid a lot of attention to, the influence of solution concentration especially, spinning voltage, the distance from spinneret to collecting screen on the morphology and the structure of the electrospun fibers. With a scanning electron microscope, the structures of the mats and the fibers were characterized and compared to the original acetate cellulose using an infrared spectrometer. It was concluded that the optimal processing parameters in the electrospinning were 8 wt%, 18 kV and 15 cm, respectively. Comparing the inner structure of the original CA and the electrospun fibers, the number of -OH groups changed apparently, this was mainly due to the dissolution. © (2011) Trans Tech Publications.

The present invention provides a cheek plate device for a stuffer box crimper, which comprises brackets, adjusting mechanisms, cheek plates, a base frame and a pair of nip rollers. The adjusting mechanisms are mounted on the brackets, which can slide relative to the bracket. The cheek plates are mounted on the inside of the adjusting mechanisms. Two identical brackets, adjusting mechanisms and cheek plates are mounted symmetrically at two sides of the pair of nip rollers and affixed on the base frame. The cheek plate device further comprises fluid thrust devices, which include fluid inlets and cylinders located on the brackets. One end of the adjusting mechanism is inserted into and coupled with the cylinder. The fluid of the thrust device flows into the cylinders through the inlets and pushes, via the adjusting mechanisms, the cheek plates toward the sides of the nip rollers. The thrust device can work hydraulically or pneumatically. The device of the present invention not only enables easy and precise adjustment of the force between the cheek plates and the two sides of the pair of nip rollers to a preset value, but also maintains the preset force by automatically compensating any mechanical wear of the cheek plates and/or the sides of the nip rollers.

As the elastic devices are able to compensate instantly, the device according to present invention not only can conveniently and precisely adjust the clamping force between the cheek plates and the side surfaces of the pair of nip rollers, but also automatically compensate instantly for any mechanical wear of the cheek plates or the sides of the pair of nip rollers that occurs during operation of the crimper.
