The Friedel-Crafts acylation reaction between 5-cyanoindole and 4-chlorobutyryl chloride was conducted in ionic liquid 1-buty-3- methylimidazolium chloroaluminate ([bmim]Cl/AlCl3), the major product was 5-cyano-3-(4- chlorobuty)indole. The structure of the product was characterized by Mass and 1H NMR spectra. When the molar ratio of AlCl3 to [bmim]Cl in [bmim]Cl/AlCl3 is at 1:1 or less, no 5-cyano-3-(4-chlorobuty)indole could be obtained. The suitable molar ratios of AlCl3 to [bmim]Cl in [bmim]Cl/AlCl3 were from 2:1 to 3:1, the yields of the major product were from 68% to 70%, respectively. When the molar ratio of [bmim]Cl/AlCl3 to 5-cyanoindole was less than 2:1, the acylation reaction was difficult to carry out, because 5-cyanoindole would be not totally dissolve in [bmim]Cl/AlCl3 under the situation. ©2014 Trans Tech Publications Ltd, Switzerland. The preparation of octylene alkenyl succinic anhydride(OSA) starches from wheat starch was studied by response surface analysis(RSA). The physicochemical properties of the products were determined by means of Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR)spectroscopy. The results showed that the major influential factors of esterification were: amount of water, OSA and alkali. The optimum condition was: dilution of OSA 3 times with alcohol, reaction period 2.0 h, reaction temperature 45°C, amount of OSA 3%(in proportion to starch), amount of Na2CO3 1.5%(in proportion to starch), water content 18%. The DS about 0.022 1 of octylene alkenyl succinic anhydride modified starch(SDS)was produced in this condition. FT-IR spectroscopy showed characteristic absorption of SDS at 1720 and 1576 cm-1. To improve the abrasive resistance and corrosion resistance of the aluminum alloy, the means of anodic oxidation was used. One kind of abrasive material-PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) was added into the electrolyte of anodic oxidation to deposit in the aluminum alloy film.The orthogonal test were designed to optimize the technological parameters of the composite anode oxidizes and to obtain the composite oxide film in which PTFE was added. The best process scheme of the alloy anode oxidation was determined to improve the abrasive and corrosion resistance of the composite membrane. The best technology scheme is as follows: the temperature is 10°C, the percent of PTFE is 15%, the current density is 2A/dm2 and the general oxidation time is 40 minutes. © 2011 IEEE. Source

Objective: To study the differences in pollen morphology and karyotype among main Fritillari thunbergii cultivars. Method: Pollen morphologies of three F. thunbergii cultivars were examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and the chromosome numbers and karyotypes were studied by applying traditional squash technique. Result: The pollen shape of F. thunbergii (Xiaye) was ovoid, while those of the other F. thunbergii (Kuanye, Duozi) were oblong. There were significant differences in mesh ridge width, mesh size among three F. thunbergii cultivars. The karyotype formula ofthree cultivars were as follows: F. thunbergii (Xiaye) was 2n = 2x = 3 m + 1 sm +8st(2SAT) + 12t(4SAT), F. thunbergii (Kuanye) was 2n = 2x = 2 m + 2 sm + 10st(2SAT) + 10t (2SAT), F. thunbergii (Duozi) was 2n = 2x = 24 = 2 m +2 sm + 5st(2SAT) + 15t(4SAT). The three cultivars of karyotype belonged to 3B; There were the heterozygosity of homologous chromosome in both F. thunbergii (Xiaye) and F. thunbergii (Duozi). Conclusion: The genetic diversity of F. thunbergii is very rich, which could enhance the adaptability, and lay the foundations for new variety selection of F. thunbergii. Source

According to laws of indestructibility of matter and Farady, the description of current efficiency and kinetic model were evaluated by introducing the ratio of the Faradaic current to the total cell current (β) through the network analysis of three dimension electrode system (TDE). The electrooxidations of 4, 4-diaminostilbene-2, 2-disulfonic(DSD) acid, 2-mercaptobenzothiazole(M) and polyethylene polymerization initiator wastewater were studied to investigate the degradation effect and current efficiency, respectively. Experimental results obtained by using a TDE at current density ranging from 5 to 16 A/m2, 20 to 60 A/m2 and 80 to 350 A/m2, respectively, for the three kinds of typical industrial wastewater were in good agreement with the proposed equation. Being verified by F value, the kinetics model had higher significance level. Accordingly, the description of current efficiency and kinetic model could be used for the optimal design and manage of TDE. Source
