On the basis of abundant research, the authors believe that in order to enhance the industrialization process of 'Nantong-xiaofangshi' persimmon, we can comply with the following suggestions. First, we may excavate the connotation of the Nantong city's local culture and the persimmon culture. Secondly, we can try to increase intensive management and postharvest commercialization. Meanwhile we could register an agricultural products brand of geographical indication and establish a standardized green foods' producing base.

The objective of this study was to analyze the effects of single and combined genotypes of MC4R and POU1F1 genes in Chinese well-known indigenous chicken (Langshan chicken) population. Genetic variants within MC4R gene and POU1F1 gene were screened through PCR-SSCP and DNA sequencing methods. A C/T mutation at nt 944 in MC4R gene (NC-006089.2:g. 944C>T) and a G/A mutation at nt 3109 in POU1F1 gene (NC-006088.2:g. 3109 G>A) were identified. Associations between the mutations of the two genes with two production traits were analyzed. The results showed that, at MC4R locus, individuals with BB and AB genotypes had highly significantly higher body weight at 16 weeks (p < 0.01) than did those with the AA genotype. And, individuals within AA and AB genotypes had significantly higher egg numbers at 300 days (p < 0.05). At POU1F1 locus, individuals with CD genotype had higher body weight at 16 weeks and egg numbers at 300 days (p < 0.05). Furthermore, combined genotypes from these two loci were found to be associated with egg numbers at 300 days (p < 0.05). The individuals within combined genotype AB/CD had higher egg production. Therefore, variations identified within the MC4R and POU1F1genes are suitable for future use in identifying chickens with the genetic potential of higher body weight and reproductive traits, at least in the population of Langshan chickens. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media Dordrecht.

Heterosis is a widely studied phenomenon in several plant species. However, its genetic basis still remains to be elucidated. In this study, we used RNA-seq data from two rice genotypes and their reciprocal hybrids, and used a combination of transcriptome profiling and allele-specific expression analysis to identify genes that are differentially expressed in the hybrids and their parents or expressed in an allele-specific manner. The differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified by a pairwise comparison of the four genotypes. Detailed annotation of DEGs suggested that these genes showed enrichment in some gene ontology categories, and they tend to have tissue-specific expression patterns compared to all genes. A total of 1033 (10.24%) of 10,195 genes with informative single nucleotide polymorphism (SNPs) were identified as ASE genes. These allele-specific expessed (ASE) genes showed a broader expression breadth suggesting that they function in diverse developmental stages. Among 1033 ASE genes, we also identified 45 ASE transcription factors belonging to 17 transcription factor families. These ASE transcription factors may act in trans to regulate gene expression in filial 1 (F1) hybrids. Our analyses provide a comprehensive transcriptome profile of rice hybrids and their parents, and would be a useful resource for the rice research community.

PTFE/Nafion (PN) membranes were fabricated for the application of moderate and high temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs), respectively. Membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) were fabricated by PTFE/Nafion membranes with commercially available low and high temperature gas diffusion electrodes (GDEs).The influence of [ZrOCl2]/ [Nafion] wt. ratio of Nafion/ZrOCl2 solution on the membrane morphology of NF-ZrP and PEMFCs performance was investigated. And the influence of hybridizing silicate into the PN membranes on their direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) performance and methanol crossover was investigated. Silicate in PN membranes causes reduction both in proton conductivity and methanol crossover of membranes. Due to the low conductivity of PTFE and silicate, PNS had a higher proton resistance than Nafion-112.The effects of introducing sub-μm porous PTFE film and ZrP particles into Nafion membranes on the DMFC performance were investigated. The influence of ZrP hybridizing process into NF membranes on the morphology of NF-ZrP composite membranes and thus on the DMFC performance was also discussed. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Wear resistant material n-SiC was added into oxidizing electrolyte, and incorporated in the aluminium alloy film to improve the wear resistance and anti-corrosion performance. The orthogonal test was used to optimize the technological parameters of the composite anodic oxidation, The optimum technological parameters were temperature 20 °C, n-SiC 20 mg/L, current density 2 A/dm 2 and oxidizing time 40 mia SEM and EDS results showed that SiC had entered into the oxidized film.

Linear polarized light is converted to radial and angular vector hollow beams by using Mach-Zehnder interferometer light path with π phase plate. The distribution of the electromagnetic field focused with high numerical aperture is calculated by employing the Richards-Wolf classical vector diffraction model. The results show that the maximum intensity and intensity gradient of the axisymmetric vector hollow beam can respectively reach the magnitude of 1011 W·m-2 and 1017 W·m-3 under the illumination of laser with the power of 10-3 W magnitude, and the radius of the dark spot is only 0.24λ. Meanwhile, strong distributions of the longitudinal electric and magnetic fields are produced. The density distribution of the local photon orbital angular momentum can be adjusted by regulating the optical path difference of the interferometer. Therefore, this beam has good application prospect in atomic optics. ©, 2014, Chinese Optical Society. All right reserved.

A new scheme for generating a vector hollow beam is proposed by using π phase plates, in which two linearly polarized light beams with perpendicular polarizations pass through two π phase plates respectively, and then an elliptical hollow beam is generated by the superposition of two diffracted waves. The eccentricity of the ellipse can be adjusted by varying the geometric size of phase plates with rectangular diaphragm. And the conversion from the radial vector beam into the angular vector beam can be realized by adjusting directions of phase plates. The feasibility and potential applications in atom optics are analysed and discussed showing that our scheme has a good potential application in atom optics. © 2014 Chinese Physical Society.

Commercially available Nafion membranes were successfully modified by laminating the base membrane with high selectivity organic-inorganic hybrid materials. We showed the comprehensive performance of PEMFC improved a lot when Nafion ternary composite membrane was used in polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (PEMFC). The present situation of Nafion ternary composite membranes were studied from three aspects: Nafion-inorganic-inorganic composite membranes; Nafion-organic-organic composite membranes and Nafion-inorganic-organic composite membranes. The protons conductivity and methanol penetration of Nafion ternary composite membranes were investigated in polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (PEMFC). The design principle, method of preparation, advantages and disadvantages, the prospect of Nafion ternary composite membrane are described briefly also. © 2012 Hydrogen Energy Publications, LLC. SBA-15-NH2 and SBA-15-Cl Mesoporous Materials were prepared by modifying SBA-15 with silane coupling agent 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane and 3-chloropropyltriethoxysilane using the post-synthesis method. The mesoporous samples were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectra and nitrogen adsorption. Compared with SBA-15-NH2, SBA-15-Cl has suitable pore opening for further utilization in the immobilization of Candida sp.99-125 lipase by physical adsorption. The influences of lipase concentration and immobilizing time on the immobilization efficiency were investigated. Meanwhile, the lipase immobilized on SBA-15-Cl showed higher thermal, pH and storage stability than that of free lipase. Further study demonstrated that lipase immobilized on SBA-15-Cl could be used eight times without significant decrease of enzyme activity. The phenomenon was associated with the shrinkage of the pore opening of SBA-15-Cl keeping lipase from leaping out. © 2013 Korean Institute of Chemical Engineers, Seoul, Korea.

With the wide application of electronic technology, electromagnetic interference has become one of the main factors to weaken electronic system performance. In communication technology and equipment, it is the development of light-duty design, low cost, high quality electronic components and electronic system that is the main object of this study. Radio frequency MEMS devices are low energy consumption, good stability. Therefore it has a strong competitiveness in the communications electronics. But EMI electromagnetic interference problem has increasingly become prominent, and based on this, this paper makes a further study on the main electromagnetic interference electromagnetic radiation of MEMS devices. In addition, this paper also establishes the mathematical model of electromagnetic radiation. Finally this paper makes an analysis and study on the shielding effect of MEMS antenna under certain magnetic materials. Through the simulation research, it is obtained that the electromagnetic effect of electronic system MEMS is good and its highest performance is more than 60 db. What's more, shielding materials are within the range of 15 to 20 GHZ, whose shielding effects reach the maximum. The largest is close to 80 db. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
