In this paper, the nano-mechano-electrical characterization of hardened cement pastes (HCP) was analysed by in-situ Scanning Probe Microscopy (SPM), Modulus Mapping test with nanoscale Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (nano-DMA), and nanoindentation. The preliminary results show that the in-situ SPM images can clearly separate the hydrated and un-hydrated phase in HCP, the width of hydrated interfacial region in HCP is less than 2 m, and the hydrated interfacial region is a strengthening region in the mechanical system. Automotive steering system is used to change the direction and keep vehicles traveling straight. Electric power steering system (EPS) can improve vehicle handling performance and economy, has become one of hot spots on research and development in modern automobile steering system. Worm gears are important components of the electric power steering system; its transmission efficiency shall affect directly transmission efficiency and reset ability of the electric power steering system. Therefore, it is very important to adopt optimization methods to design the electric power steering systems. The fuzzy optimization model is established to design EPS. The method of second-class comprehensive evaluation was used by the optimal level cut set, thus the fuzzy optimization is transformed into the conventional optimization. This drawback of the genetic algorithm can be overcome by combining it with local gradient-based algorithms, which are known for their faster convergence. This hybrid approach improves the efficiency of the algorithm and also avoids the need to specify a good initial point for the derivative-based methods. A hybrid algorithm combining the genetic algorithm and local algorithm are developed in this paper, and the genetic algorithm can be combined with fuzzy logic to efficiently find a more accurate solution. ©2010 IEEE.

Based on the characters of material, the carburized depth and allowed distortion of gear and spline before and after carburizing and quenching, the heat treatment process of 18Cr2Ni4WA steel driven gear shaft were analyzed, and corresponding measures were presented. The results show that inserting quenching-tempering can improve cutting-machinability and surface work precision, relieve the residual stress in roughing machining. The respective carburized depth for gear and spline are achieved by adoption of double gas carburizing. The process techniques such as composite isothermal-quenching, extra machining allowances, and using vertical hanging methods can decrease the heat treatment distortion. © 2016, Editorial Office of "Jinshu Rechuli". Middleware supports programming abstract which facilitate the programmer task and bridge the gap between the application and the hardware. Middleware for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) can help bridge the gap and remove impediments. This paper designs GWSN, a middleware WSNs, whose architecture is composed of runtime support, application development kits, and software development kits. Runtime support in GWSN is the core of WSNs middleware and supports executing and maintenance of WSNs applications. Application development kits includes many basic function kits, such as display editor, rule editor, and workflow editor, which support the application development of WSNs.
