Acute intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is prone to multiple organ dysfunction and has high disability and mortality. This study was to determine the role of acute physiology and chronic health evaluation II (APACHE II) scoring system in the prediction of severity and outcome of acute ICH.A total of 546 ICH patients were prospectively recruited between 1 January 2013 and 31 December 2014. Patients were divided into three groups according to the APACHE II scores: low score group (5-16), moderate score group (17-28) and high score group (29). The ICH volume and location, National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) scores, Glasgow Coma Score and modified Rankin Scale (mRS) scores were used to assess the severity of acute ICH. Global outcome at three months was evaluated with the mRS.Of 479 patients, the average age was 56.4 3.4 years, 287 (59.9%) survived and 192 (40.1%) died. Results showed that the higher the APACHE II score, the higher the mortality was; the average hospital stay, ICH volume, NIHSS scores, mRS scores and survival rate were significantly different among three APACHE II groups (p < 0.05). APACHE II scores were able to predict the mortality and correlated positively with actual mortality (r = 0.84, p < 0.01).APACHE II scoring system can be used to predict the severity and outcome of acute ICH.

Real-time sampling control of A/D converter TLC5510 is realized with EP13T144C8-FPGA device of cyclone, which improved the real-time property of data acquisition for DO. Frequency division of system clock and control of A/D sampling are implemented respectively by VHDL language. High-speed storage and sending of transform data are achieved in combination design of FIFO memory. Simulation results under QuartusII development platform are presented at last. The real-time investigation and control of DO could be realized to raise the water quality of sewage treatment. © 2012 Springer-Verlag.

This project implements the reading of audio files, the process of the audio signal and the extraction of the left and right channels signal with the powerful function of digital signal processing in MATLAB. Combining with chip control requirements, the interface of FPGA and WM8731 was designed by Verilog HDL to transfer the audio data to the audio processing chip. Finally, the reliability of the design is verified by simulation and the analysis method of the simulation result in Quartus II is presented.

AT89C51, being the main control chip, controls the auto speed, brake and clutch while the car is traveling under some situations. A long-distance displacement sensor detected the distance between the sensor itself and the obstacles in front of it, and succeeded in auto controlling the speed (brake and clutch) according to its traveling condition (including speed, maximum acceleration-the roughness of the pavement), which ensured autos to travel at the safe speed. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH.

Granular cell tumor (GCT) is a rare soft tissue neoplasm that can virtually affect any site of the body. They commonly arise on lower extremity, nuchal region, chest wall, gastrointestinal tract, head and neck but very rarely in thyroid. Here, a case is described of granular cell tumor in a 16-year-old girl, which is a very rare occurrence, since these tumors typically manifest in subjects between the fourth and sixth decade. The patient had noticed a thyroid mass half a month back which was operated. And then, unilateral thyroidectomy and isthmectomy was done. Immunohistochemistry stain of excision specimen was diagnosed as GCT. Histopathological features, differential diagnosis and therapeutic implications of granular cell tumor were discussed, together with a brief review of the recent literature.

E-governance is a new model for the government's governance which is to achieve good governance in the Information Age. E-governance is helpful to assist the government through the network and the information technology in order to realize the ideal targets such as transparency, accountability, efficiency, legitimacy and instant response. These five objectives are the basic elements for good governance. The agreement for these two points proves that the E-governance does not impose on the good governance by force, but is a part of good governance. And the Chinese government has been pursuing the goal of good governance. Therefore, the concept of good governance prompts our government to improve and innovate e-governance constantly and finally to create a good governance model. In this paper, we use SHEL model which includes Software, Hardware, Environment, Liveware (S, H, E, L) these four factors to build and innovate our government's e-governance. © 2011 IEEE.

The advanced technologies are employed in the garbage disposal containers to design the environment-friendly, green and energy-saving new-type landscape environmental sanitation facilities. Moreover, it points out the significance of creating new technology and new concept in the urban landscape facilities, and adopts the innovative idea and new concept to realize the harmonious and wonderful human settlement.

The ideology of ecologized landscape design must be maintained through the design of urban infrastructure, and the ecologized landscape infrastructure can enhance the overall quality of urban environment, arouse the innate connection between human and nature, communicate about the relationship between human and nature, so as to benefit the sustainable development of the whole urban landscape and further facilitate the harmony and prosperity of human and environment. At present, there are a large variety of infrastructure products, involving very complicated functions. Considering the needs of ecologized design, this paper centers on the features of infrastructure products in terms of function, structure and material, etc., and establishes the reasonable rules of ecologized planning, in order to lay the foundation for subsequently developing the favorable methods for the ecologized design of infrastructure products. © 2011 Published by Elsevier Ltd.

In the Warning system of On-line Water Quality Monitoring System, the LED display system based on GSM was proposed. SCM, as the system controller, controlled reception of the GSM short messages and display of signals on the far-end LED. The hardware design included system power supplies, clock circuit, wireless data-transceiver-module, data storage expansion, the LED display module and the scanning driver module. At last, sending data to LED panel and receiving data were implemented. The experiments showed that the function of warning system was feasible.

Sr4Si3O8Cl4: Eu2+ phosphors were synthesized by the solid-reaction at high temperature. The emission intensity reaches a maximum at 0.08 mol% of Eu2+ concentration. The present paper mainly focused on the effects of Zn2+ on the crystallization behavior and photoluminescence (PL) properties of Sr4Si3O8Cl4:0.08Eu2+. Results suggested that no new phase is introduced by co-doping with a small amount of Zn2+ ions, but when co-doped with excessive amount of Zn2+ ions, Sr2ZnSi2O7 appears. We find that the co-doping of a small amount of Zn2+ could remarkably improve the PL intensity of Sr4Si3O8Cl4:0.08Eu2+. When x = 0.05, the intensity of Sr4Si3O8Cl4:0.08Eu2+,xZn2+ was increased up to 2.3 times that of pure Sr4Si3O8Cl4:0.08Eu2+, which could be attributed to the flux effect of Zn2+ ions, and the Zn2+ doping reduces the opportunities of the energy transfer between Eu2+. © 2010 Elsevier B.V.
