Platypeltoides hammondi is here described as a new species. It comes from the Lower Fezouata Formation, Lower Ordovician (Tremadoc) of the south of Tansikht, Dra Valley, Morocco. It is characterized by the presence of genal spines, a characteristic that has not previously described in this genus. In addition, we discuss the problematic description of Platypeltoides magrebiensis? Rábano, 1990, on the basis of new material found in this same locality.

All the specimens of trilobites Asaphellus cuervoae Corbacho & López-Soriano, 2012 coming from an outcrop in the Lower Ordovician in Goulmin (Morocco) are studied. Almost all specimens appear in pairs in which the larger is placed below. It is proposed tentatively that this is evidence of sexual dimorphism and also perhaps a possible copulation.

After the study of specimens of Cardium larteti originating in the Lower Aptian of Cervera del Maestre (NE Spain), the authors propose it be included in the genus Integricardium. Cervera del Maestre is the third locality for this species, only cited in Spain.

Two species of Nerineacean gastropods are studied. The first one is the known albian species named by Choffat (1888) as Nerinea capelloi, which is included here in Eunerinea. Multiptyxis angolensis is proposed as a new species and carnes also from albian beds. This genus enlarges its palaeogeography Palaeontology. Gastropods. Cretaceous. Albian. Angola. Africa. New species.


Lanceaspis hammondi n. gen., n. sp. is described from the Lower Devonian (Pragian) of Anti-Atlas (Morocco). This peculiar trilobite possess features of Asteropyginae and Acastavinae and its affiliation is uncertain. The prefrontal spine does not appear in any of these two subfamilies.


A new genus of the subfamily Isotelinae (Kierarges with the type species K. morrisoni sp. nov.) is described from the Lower Ordovician (Floian) of the Zagora area (Morocco). This new genus also appears in the Lower Ordovician of Portugal. It differs mainly from the other genera of the subfamily Isotelinae by the peculiar shape of pygidium.

Bataller (1947) described Terebratula crespelli, but the material related to this species does not appear in the Museum, and any mention of the species is neither in archives nor collections. But its picture is very close related to the figure of Zeilleria" cisnerosi, species created also by Bataller. So is it suggested both the two figures are confused by Bataller. This is a nude suggestion. After careful study it can be concluded that Terebratula crespelli is a nomen nodum, whilts Zeilleria" cisnerosi is a valide species, but its generic assignment must be revised.


A lot of species of Gastropods is described as new ones. Also it is point out if some genuses enlarge their age. The new species are the following: Tectus ferreri n. sp Tectus davidis n. sp. Michaletia reyi n. sp Astraea garciauclesin. sp. Gymnocerithium vilellai n.sp Orthohetus adserai n. sp Ampullina lomparti n. sp Murotriton roselli n. sp Iscafusus kollmanni n. sp. Mesorhytis benetae n. sp. Athleta jorginae n. sp. Voluta eduvigis n. sp. Sveltella sagnieri n. sp. Surculoma luterbacheri n. sp. Funis llansanai n.sp. Strioterebrum carrascoi n. sp All they come from the olistons of Campanian age, near to known outcrops of Sensui, Toralla, Torallola, etc. A close relation to tertiary and modern faunas is also pointed.
