The experimental validation of the heat transfer and cure modeling results for 8-mm fiber-reinforced thermosetting composite reinforcement is reported in this article. The temperature and degree of cure of composite reinforcement are predicted using a two-dimensional heat transfer and curing model. The model uses the infrared radiant heating theory and takes into account the heat transfer between the composite rod and the surrounding air. The implicit finite difference method was used to solve the system of governing equations. The results obtained using mathematical model was compared to experimental data: the temperature field inside the composite reinforcement was measured by means of naked thermocouple; Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) was used to measure the degree of cure of the final product. Calculated and measured temperature and degree of cure fields were in good agreement. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The methodology for the calculation of the durability and steadiness of the underwater pipeline shows that in the framework of the classical formulation of the problem of the durability of composite beam structures found numerical solutions suitable for engineering design techniques of underwater pipelines by the influence of distributed loads. There is concrete solutions for the offshore pipeline typical for arctic conditions and there are limits of applicability national and international standards for assessing the steadiness of gas pipeline to local flooding and collapse due to the impact of ice fields and ridges. A block diagram of the mechanical part of the extruder drive was developed. Using the device bioPlux we can identify a set of user gestures, and based on them to create a multimodal interface. Gestures are selected so that they are not dependent on each other. The main goal of the research is to create a simple game which can be controlled by using different hand movements. Relevance of the topic from the practical point of view is determined by the need to create a software system that can use sign language interface in real time.
