A hydrogen gas generator comprises: an electrolyzer (2) configured to include a housing (20), a first chamber (21), a second chamber (22), a membrane (25), and a pair of electrode plates (23, 24); a tank (6) configured to store water to be electrolyzed (W); an electric power source (3) configured to apply a DC voltage to the pair of electrode plates; a diluter (4) configured to introduce a diluent gas into the first chamber or the second chamber in which the electrode plate to be a cathode is provided, the diluent gas diluting hydrogen gas generated; an electric quantity detector (51) configured to detect an electric quantity given to the electrode plate to be the cathode; a flow rate detector (52) configured to detect a flow rate of the diluent gas from the diluter; a calculator (5) configured to calculate a concentration of the diluted hydrogen gas on the basis of the electric quantity detected by the electric quantity detector and the flow rate detected by the flow rate detector; and an indicator (54) configured to present the concentration of hydrogen gas calculated by the calculator.

An object is to provide an apparatus and method for generating a hydrogen-containing liquid that are capable of generating a hydrogen-containing liquid of which the hydrogen concentration after 10 minutes exceeds 6 ppm and the hydrogen concentration after 24 hours exceeds 10 ppm. The apparatus comprises a hydrogen generating agent (11) reacting with water to generate hydrogen gas, a capsule (20) configured to be charged with the hydrogen generating agent (11) and discharge the hydrogen gas generated in the capsule (20) to external, and a container (3) configured to be charged with a liquid (L) that is an object to which the hydrogen gas generated in the capsule (20) is added. The ratio (V/W) of a volume (V ml) of the capsule (20) to a weight (W g) of the hydrogen generating agent (11) is 11.4 or less and more preferably 8.2 or less.


A method of adding hydrogen to a fluid that is applicable to living organisms via inhalation, drinking or injection, the method comprising use of a selective hydrogen adding equipment that comprises: a hydrogen generating system that contains a hydrogen generating agent as an essential constituent, the hydrogen generating agent being hydrogenated metal or metal having higher ionization tendency than hydrogen; a hydrogen bubble forming implement (c-3; d-3) that stores the hydrogen generating system for generating hydrogen gas by a reaction between the hydrogen generating system and water that is provided for the purpose of generating hydrogen, the hydrogen bubble forming implement having a gas/liquid separating section (a, b) including an open-close type valve (a); and a closed container (e) for storing the fluid, characterized by the steps of: a) providing water for the purpose of generating hydrogen to the hydrogen generating system, b) accommodating the hydrogen bubble forming implement in the closed container so as to be a structural site having been preliminarily incorporated in the closed container, and c) supplying the hydrogen gas into the closed container storing the fluid via the gas/liquid separating section thereby to provide a hydrogen-containing fluid to be applied to the living organisms, wherein the open-close type valve is opened by a gas pressure of the hydrogen gas generated inside of the hydrogen bubble forming implement owing to a reaction between the hydrogen generating system and the water provided in step (a), thereby to exhaust hydrogen gas into the closed container outside of the hydrogen bubble forming implement, the open-close type valve being closed after the exhaust, thereby to isolate the hydrogen generating system from the fluid to be applied to the living organisms.


A device (1) for producing a hydrogen containing fluid, comprising: a container (12) that stores fluid (11) which able to be used for a living organism and has water vapor permeability; a hydrogen generating system (13) that generates hydrogen by using moisture; and a wrapping member (14) that encloses the container (12) and the hydrogen generating system (13) and has low hydrogen molecule permeability, wherein the wrapping member (14) encloses the container (12) and the hydrogen generating system (13) located outside the container, and a treatment to increase humidity in a space (15) between an outer surface of the container (12) and an inner surface of the wrapping member (14) is performed.


A selective hydrogen adding equipment for supplying hydrogen to a living organism applicable fluid, comprising:


An apparatus includes: a hydrogen generating agent (1); a hydrogen gas generator (3) having the hydrogen generating agent; and at least one of a diluent gas supplier (7) or a vacuum pump (8) for diluting hydrogen gas generated by a reaction of the hydrogen generating agent and water (2) for reaction. The apparatus has a feature that a part or whole of a gas phase portion (4) in the hydrogen gas generator is covered with a hydrogen gas permeable membrane (5), and is operable to: mix the hydrogen gas with the diluent gas supplied from the diluent gas supplier or the vacuum pump thereby to supply a living organism with a mixed gas at a flow volume of 1 mL/min or more, the mixed gas having a hydrogen gas concentration of 0.1 vol% or higher and lower than 18.3 vol%; and maintain a hydrogen gas concentration in a position separated by 7 cm from the hydrogen generating agent or a water surface of the water for reaction at lower than 18.3 vol% during hydrogen generation even when supply of the diluent gas is stopped.


Living organism applicable hydrogen-contained fluid is obtained through storing a hydrogen generating system, which contains a hydrogen generating agent as an essential component, in a hydrogen bubble forming implement which has a gas/liquid separating section including a gas-permeable film or an open-close type valve, causing the hydrogen generating system and a generating-purpose water to react in the hydrogen bubble forming implement, and supplying hydrogen gas generated in the hydrogen bubble forming implement into living organism applicable fluid via the gas/liquid separating section.


An apparatus includes: an electrolytic cell (6) having an electrolytic chamber (3) to which subject raw water (2) to be electrolyzed is introduced, at least one membrane (13) that partitions inside and outside of the electrolytic chamber, and at least a pair of electrode plates (4, 5) provided in the inside and the outside of the electrolytic chamber so as to sandwich the membrane, the electrode plate in the outside of the electrolytic chamber being provided to be in contact with the membrane; a direct-current power source (14) that applies a direct-current voltage to the pair of electrode plates; and a diluent gas supply means (10, 11) for supplying a diluent gas for diluting hydrogen gas generated from an electrode plate of the pair of electrode plates that is to be the cathode, wherein at least a part of a gas phase portion (7) formed in the electrolytic chamber is covered with a hydrogen gas permeable membrane (8), the apparatus blows diluent gas supplied using the diluent gas supply means to the cathode or a cathode water surface thereby to constantly maintain a hydrogen gas concentration in a position separated by 7 cm from the cathode or the cathode water surface at lower than 18.3 vol% during electrolysis so that mixed gas comprising the hydrogen gas and the diluent gas is supplied to a living organism, the mixed gas having a hydrogen gas concentration of 0.1 vol% or higher and lower than 18.3 vol%.


An apparatus includes an electrolytic cell (1) having an electrolytic chamber (11) to which subject raw water (12) is introduced, at least one membrane (13) that separates inside and outside of the electrolytic chamber, and at least one pair of electrode plates (14, 15) provided in the inside and the outside of the electrolytic chamber so as to sandwich the membrane, the electrode plate in the outside of the electrolytic chamber being provided to be in contact with the membrane; a direct-current power source (2) that applies a direct-current voltage to the pair of electrode plates; and a diluent gas supplier (3) for diluting hydrogen gas generated from the electrode plate that is to be a cathode, wherein the apparatus blows diluent gas supplied from the diluent gas supplier to the cathode thereby to constantly maintain a hydrogen gas concentration in the vicinity of the cathode during electrolysis at lower than 18.3 vol% so that mixed gas comprising the hydrogen gas and the diluent gas and having a hydrogen gas concentration of 0.1 to 18.3 vol% is supplied to a living organism.
