The correlation control system for a turbine-driven circulating water pump is mainly composed of such items as a startup slide valve and an oil servo-motor etc. By using the special hydraulic simulation software AMESim, a simulation study was performed of the correlation control system. In combination with the actual operation environment of the equipment items, an in-depth analysis was conducted of the simulation results. It has been found that the change-over pressure of the startup slide valve is 0.46 MPa and the stroke of the oil servo-motor under the shutdown operating condition reaches 29 mm. When going ahead, the stroke of the oil servo-motor will decrease with an increase of the pulse oil pressure input. When going astern, the foregoing stroke will increase with an increase of the astern pulse oil pressure.
