Disclosed is an infusion pump device comprising a peristaltic pump means, wherein the tubing (36) comprises first to fourth zones directly joining each other in downstream direction, the first zone being the most upstream zone is provided so that an engagement element (22, 26) comes into engagement with the tubing (36) during movement along the first zone, the second and third zones are provided so that an engagement element (22, 26) remains in engagement with the tubing (36) during movement along the second and third zones, the fourth zone being the most downstream zone is provided so that an engagement element (22, 26) is disengaged from the tubing (36) during movement along the fourth zone, the length of each of the zones is shorter than the distance between the two neighboring engagement elements (22, 26), the sum of the lengths of the second and third zones is equal to the distance between the two neighboring engagement elements (22, 26), and the cross-section of the second zone is larger than the cross-section of the third zone by an amount leading to an increase of volume which is at least equal to an increase of volume displaced in the fourth zone resulting from the disengagement of an engagement element (22, 26) from the tubing (36).


A medication infusion device comprises a memory means at a medication reservoir storing data identifying medication in the reservoir, a memory reading means at an infusion pump unit reads data from said memory means, and control means controls an infusion, based on data read by said memory reading means, to start the infusion when the medication is correct. A fluid connection detection means detects fluid connection of the medication reservoir to the infusion pump unit and transmits to control means whether the medication reservoir is connected. The control means controls an infusion in accordance with the transmission from the fluid connection detection means so that when there is no connection between the medication reservoir and infusion pump unit, the infusion pump unit will not be started or, if already started, stopped.

A compound spring MEMS resonator includes a resonator body constructed using one or more spring unit cells forming a compound spring block and one or more compound spring blocks forming the resonator body.
