Using GIS(Geographic Information System), GPS(Global Positioning System), GPRS(General Packet Radio Service) and RFID(Radio Frequency Identification), an intelligent control mining management system in an open pit has been designed and developed. A linear programming model is set up in a practical application. By the model, the system can automatically draw up production plan of ore blending well every day. The system can monitor and dispatch open-pit trucks and shovels well, and can play back their historical paths. It can monitor and control the process of mining production in real time. By RFID, The system can also count the number of trucks' delivery and shovels' loading automatically. Experiments on real scenes show that the performance of this system is stable and can satisfy production standards of ore blending in open pits. © (2011) Trans Tech Publications.

In view of the request of wireless accurate position of workers and equipments, the characteristics of wireless signal transmission and position have been analyzed. Based on the Two Way Arrival and Symmetric Double Sides Two Way Arrival, a multi-Access points Centroid wireless Localization algorithm of area was designed in this paper. And The simulation shows that this algorithm performance is stable, reduces the spread and a range of error by NLOS and can improve the degree of wireless Localization accuracy in underground.

Based on the production process design in open pit, the system not only automatically generate the production plan of ore blending, but also achieve the production intelligent dispatch of trucks and shovels, automatic statistics to the number of ore traffic and real-time monitoring of production data. Experiments on real scenes show that this system's performance is stable and can satisfy the request in open pit. © 2011 IEEE.

In order to effectively avoid the defects of a traditional discounted cash flow method, a trinomial tree pricing model of the real option is improved and used to forecast the investment price of mining. Taking Molybdenum ore as an example, a theoretical model for the hurdle price under the optimal investment timing is constructed. Based on the example data, the option price model is simulated. By the model, mine investment price can be computed and forecast effectively. According to the characteristics of mine investment, cut-off grade, reserve estimation and mine life in different price also can be quantified. The result shows that it is reliable and practical to enhance the accuracy for mining investment decision. © 2013 The Editorial Office of Journal of Coal Science and Engineering (China) and Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.

The microstructure of Al 2O 3/Mo composite was analyzed and the wear behavior was tested. The analysis results of wear data and wear morphology show that the amount of density first increases and then decreases gradually, but hardness increased with the increasing of the volumn fraction of Al 2O 3. There is some degree of reduction on the wear produced by the process of cutting, plowing. When the Al 2O 3 volume fraction is 3%, the specific wear rate of composites increases gradually with the particle size decreases. However, at higher Al 2O 3 volume fraction (5%, 10%, 15%), the specific wear rate first increases and then decreases with the increasing of abrasive grain diameter. The wear loss increases with the increase of the load, while there is no influence on the order. On the same load, the wear loss shows a declining trend with the continuous increase of Al 2O 3 content, but the speed is slower.

Highly dispersive ammonium dimolybdate crystals with high purity have been prepared through reaction-evaporation-crystallization united route using commercial molybdenum oxide as starting material. The as-prepared ammonium dimolybdate uniform crystals were systematically characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, transmission-reflection optical microscope, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and TG-DSC thermal analysis. The Fsss grain diameter, loose packed density, and crystal-grain size distribution were also measured by the Malvern laser particle sizer. These collective characterization and analysis reveal that the ammonium dimolybdate grains are non-agglomerated uniform crystals with well normal distribution and geometric shape. The average Fsss diameter, d (0.5) and loose packed density are 433.316μm, 470.981μm and 1.592gcm -3, respectively, which could well meet the quality requirements for the subsequent production of molybdenum powders. © 2012 The Korean Society of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry.

In view of the request of trucks and shovels transportation automation and the characteristic of complex terrain in open pit, this paper introduces the current advanced RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) and GPRS(General Packet Radio Service). Using these technologies, the automatic transportation management system of trucks and shovels in open pit has been designed and developed. This system not only can count the number of trucks' delivery and shovels' loading automatically, but also can manage the vehicles' transportation in open pit according to the ore proportioning plan. This greatly enhances the trucks and shovels working efficiency in open pit and provides the stable ore for mineral processing. Experiments on real scenes show that this system's performance is stable, can satisfy production request in open pit and enhance the mine labor productivity greatly. © (2011) Trans Tech Publications.
