Specifically, a deodorizing unit 22 having an air expulsion port 46 and an air suctioning port 56 is provided in a rear portion of the toilet main unit 2, and air is circulated by expelling air through the expulsion port 46 such as to laterally swirl the air along an inner surface of the toilets bowl 15, and by suctioning swirled returning air via the suctioning port 56. Deodorization is carried out in the course of circulating the air.
