Equipment failures are becoming one of the major threats in the chemical process industry. The marriage of WSN and large scale of monitoring data bring the new challenges. To address these issues, in this paper, we propose surveillance methods that can monitor the running condition of chemical equipments. Our methods are based on skyline operator and quickly identify such equipment in potential danger. We propose a real-time fault detection system model of chemical equipment and define a detection framework to detect the faults of chemical equipments. Then we apply our strategy to monitor the running condition of chemical equipments in WSN. Extensive experiments on different datasets have been performed, showing that our methods can detect the abnormal equipment efficiently. Our performance study confirms the effectiveness and scalability of the proposed methods. © 2016 IEEE.

Isothermal and cyclic oxidation behaviour of Cr/Si co-doped NiAlDy alloys were investigated at 1200°C. The role of Cr and Si in oxidation of NiAlDy alloys was discussed by combining experimental results and first-principles calculations. Cr and Si would co-segregate at grain boundaries and promoted the transformation from θ-Al2O3 to α-Al2O3 at initial oxidation stage. The NiAlDyCr-3Si alloy yielded a mass gain of ~0.64mg/cm2 after 100h isothermal oxidation and showed much improved cyclic oxidation resistance due to the pair affinity between Si and Cr which can alleviate the deleterious effect of interfacial Cr precipitation. © 2013 Elsevier Ltd.

2A97 Al-Li alloy was processed by thermo-mechanical treatment at different pre-stretch deformations of 0, 3% and 6%. The microstructure observation results reveal that some δ' and T1 precipitates are found in α(Al) matrix of 2A97 alloy processed by the heat treatment with no pre-stretch deformation. When the pre-stretch deformation is 3% and 6%, respectively, amounts of tiny T1 and a few of S' precipitates precipitates are observed in the microstructures of 2A97 alloy. The tensile test results show that the tensile properties of 2A97 alloys are improved via thermo-mechanical treatment. When the pre-stretch deformation is from 0, 3% to 6%, the ultimate tensile strength values of the 2A97 alloys increase gradually from 447.7, 516.5 to 534.3 MPa, and the elongations decrease from 17.6%, 12.8% to 10.2%, respectively. Moreover, with increasing pre-stretch deformation amount from 0 to 6%, the in-plane anisotropy value of 2A97 alloys becomes more obvious. © 2014 The Nonferrous Metals Society of China.

Nitrogen doped diamond-like carbon (N-DLC) coating was prepared on NiTi alloys using plasma immersion ion implantation and deposition (PIIID). The Raman spectrum confirms the coating processes the structure of diamond-like carbon. The XPS results reveal the nitrogen is doped into the diamond-like carbon, and CAN bonds are formed in the coating. The scratch test displays that the DLC coating has good adhesion strength with the substrate. Anodic polarization has been carried out to examine the electrochemical corrosion behavior of the coated and uncoated samples. The result indicates that the corrosion resistance of the NiTi alloys is improved by the coating. © 2013 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

In this paper, we investigate the effect of those recognized nature-and-activity-based attributes on the level of park's admission fee charges using a panel data of 29 coastal recreation parks in Dalian city of China. A total of seven different Hedonic pricing model specifications are used in the estimating process. The results indicate that a numerous attributes have statistically significant effects (a≥ 0.10) on the level of park admission fee charges. In terms of the economic valuation, the marine sightseeing results in the highest value of Marginal Willingness to Pay (MWTP) of $6.4 as its quality rank improves to a designated higher level. As expected that the park congestion has a negative effect on the MWTP (-$0.47) and overall park's rankings have a positive effect ($0.05) on park's MWTP. However, many recreation activities accommodated by the park sites exhibit a relatively weak effect on the park entrance fee charges. One possible reason is perhaps owing to the single admission package fee policy adopted by the park management.

Based on the diversity of the retention mechanism, mixed-mode capillary monolithic columns have broad application prospect. In this work, a novel capillary polymer monolithic column was prepared with [2-(methacryloyloxy) ethyl] dimethyl-(3-sulfopropyl) ammonium hydroxide (SPE) as monomer, ethylene dimethacrylate (EDMA) as crosslinking agent, azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) as initiator and butylalcohol/1,4-butanediol/water as ternary porogens. Under the optimized reaction conditions including the proportion of monomer and porogens, amount of initiator, reaction temperature and polymerization time, the monolithic column showed good mechanical strength up to 10 MPa, high permeability of 2.17×10-14 m2 and good repeatability. The peak area RSDs of column-to-column and batch-to-batch reproducibility were 1. 0% and 4. 6%, respectively. Finally, the capillary monolithic column was evaluated with polar and non-polar test mixtures. It showed hydrophilic interaction under high organic phase while hydrophobic interaction under low organic phase, indicating it a mixed-mode monolithic column.

The attribute core of inconsistent decision table plays an important role in rough set theory (RST). However, the existing methods are difficult to distinguish between the consistent core and inconsistent core attributes. In this paper, we present a novel calculation for core attributes of inconsistent decision table by proposing two improved discernibility matrices which correctly obtain core attributes from consistent and inconsistent information, respectively. Theoretical and empirical result analyses show that the proposed approach is advantage and effective. © 2011 IEEE.

Cost control standards established by Taylor's standards setting method have single level characteristics, go against to improve the validity of enterprise cost control. The changes of human's rationality, emotion and cognition make dual cost control standards emerge. Managers not only need to establish double cost control standards but also need to make the reasonable incentive contracts to encourage workers; in order to maximize self-interest, workers select their efforts according to their own information, thus produces a dynamic game between workers and managers. Through the establishment of principal-agent model based on dual cost control standards effect, this paper analyses the effects of the differences of managers incentive contracts on the degrees of workers' effort. It can be found that there is a positive correlation between the degrees of workers' effort and incentive degrees they got, for the workers reach different cost control standards, managers should set different incentive coefficients, to achieve the humanization management of cost control. ©, 2015, Systems Engineering Society of China. The invasion of colon cancer is associated with the tumor angiogenesis. Endostatin is an important anti-angiogenic agent, and the additive effect of endostatin with a chemotherapeutic agent, cyclophosphamide, on micrangium has not been established.Male BALB/c strain nude mice were injected with human colorectal carcinoma cells (HCT-116). The mice were divided into four groups (n=15, each group) and were treated with different concentrations of endostatin (15, 10, and 5 mg/kg/day), cyclophosphamide (20, 10, and 5 mg/kg/day), and combination of endostatin/cyclophosphamide (15+20, 15+10, and 15+5 mg/kg/day). The tumor inhibition rate was evaluated, followed by the quantification of messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) and protein expression of notch signaling components NOTCH-1, NOTCH-3, NOTCH-4, JAG-1, DLL-4, Hes-1, and Hey-1 using quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR). The protein expression of NOTCH-3, JAG-1, and DLL-4 was confirmed using western blotting. Microvessel density (MVD) was evaluated to detect micrangium following the treatment.The endostatin/cyclophosphamide-treated samples exhibited an additive effect on the tumor inhibition rate and the microvessel count. NOTCH-1, NOTCH-3, NOTCH-4, JAG-1, Hes-1, and Hey-1 expression levels were highly correlated and downregulated in the treated samples, whereas DLL-4 expression was upregulated that accounted for its anti-angiogenic property.The combination treatment of colon cancer with endostatin and a chemotherapeutic agent, cyclophosphamide proves to be an efficient therapeutic strategy to inhibit the rapid vasculature formation confirmed by the differential expression of notch signaling components.
