Product document and BOM (bill of material) are two important components of PDM (product data management). Combining the domestic and foreign status and trends of PDM, based on STEP which is an international standard for exchange of product model data, several key technologies of PDM, such as product data model, part type expansion and rule-based deformation configuration, have been studied deeply in this paper. With applying these technologies to product document modeling and BOM multi-view mapping, the efficient management in a variety of documents is achieved and the problem of data inconsistency and redundancy is settled in the course of using BOM among a number of departments. The nuclear safety became the more important after the Fukushima accident. The development of nuclear safety culture is one of the most effective methods to improve the safety. Also the assessment shows the level of the nuclear safety culture. The nuclear safety assessment model is described. The assessment model was described from its time and space, and it was also discussed from macro and micro levels. The internal and external environment parameters are considered and the assessment of different levels of safety culture is described. According to established principles of nuclear safety culture, the selection rules of the different levels evaluation indicators of nuclear safety culture are discussed too. The forced convection tracer curve model and the volume calculation method of connected dual Karst caves was obtained from those tracing experiments in two connected curves by changing the volume ratio of the two caves and the channel width. From the forced convection tracer curves gained in the big cave and the small one, the former has longer length and gentler slope and the latter has shorter one and steeper one before the tracer concentration becomes stable. When it is a small drilling-revealed subsurface cave connecting a big one, this method can identify the dual connected caves and isolated cave by the forced convection tracer curve; The relative error of the total volume of the two connected Karst caves is very small, which can indicate that the method of calculating the total volume is feasible. But only when the small drilling-revealed cave connected a big one, the method of calculating the volume of each cave through the tracer curve can be used. ©, 2015, The Editorial Board of Journal of Basic Science and Engineering. An experimental system of AC arc discharge in water was designed with pole-pole electrodes and a peak voltage of 1500 V and a test circuit was set up using virtual instrument technology. The mechanism of an AC plasma arc generated in water was analyzed. The voltage-current characteristic of the AC plasma arc was obtained from the waveform. The temperature characteristic was tested with a spectrum diagnosis system, and the effect of different electrode materials on the striking voltage and peak current was analyzed. The results show that when a power supply of 6 kW is applied on electrodes with a gap of 2 mm in water, the striking voltage is from 900 V to 1300 V, the arc voltage is from 40 V to 100 V, the arc current is from 2 A to 7 A, and the zero rest period is from 1 ms to 2 ms. In addition, the arc voltage and current are different for electrodes in aluminum, copper and stainless steel. The arc voltage is lower and the current is higher for an aluminum electrode than those for copper and stainless steel ones. The highest temperature of the arc is 7643 K. Source

Experimental investigation and analysis of the pressure drop characteristic of flow boiling in narrow rectangular channel were conducted under rolling motion. Several correlations for the two-phase frictional pressure drop were evaluated against the experimental data. The results show that the correlations for conventional channel poorly predict the results. While the Zhang-Mishima and Sun-Mishima correlations developed for narrow channel are better than other correlations. On the other hand, the pressure drop characteristic of flow boiling was analyzed under rolling motion. The two-phase pressure drop changes cyclically due to the rolling motion, rolling angle and period almost have no effect on the fluctuation of pressure drop and the average two-phase frictional pressure drop.
