According to the requirements and characteristics of software quality comprehensive evaluation, a matter-element extension synthesis evaluation method is introduced, and its shortcomings and problems are also discussed in the practical evaluation process. Especially, the matter-element model, correlation function, matter-element value space and multilevel metrics data transmission in the original method that can't adapt for multi-level evaluation index system are analyzed. Moreover, the all elements and algorithm caused these shortcomings and problems have been studied and improved. Then a new multi-layer matter-element extension synthesis evaluation method is created. The metrics results and conclusion obtained by this new evaluation method are more objective, accurate and reliable than the original. © 2011 ACADEMY PUBLISHER. Source

Based on the requirements and characteristics of software quality comprehensive evaluation, the defects caused by original fuzzy synthesis evaluation algorithm and multilayer matter-element extension evaluation algorithm are systematically analyzed and discussed. These defects are mainly resulted from the calculation of "taking large and taking small value" of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation algorithm and the complex computing process of the multilayer matter-element extension evaluation algorithm, and also lead to the loss of a large amount of valid information and the multilayer transmission distortion of intermediate measurement data. Therefor, this paper extracts the excellent calculating structure from the two original algorithms and creates a new fuzzy extension synthesis evaluation method for software quality. The accuracy and reliability of software quality metrics are also obviously improved with the new algorithm. © 2010 Springer-Verlag. Source

Using the automation production and management system of modern manufacturing industry production line for reference, a new industrialized PL-ISEE (product line based integrated software engineering environment) architecture model is firstly proposed. In the new model, the middle part of the PL-ISEE architecture, data layer, which is composed of the software components bus and core assets database platform to achieve the storage and managements of product line core assets data. And then, the database platform framework and its implementation mechanism of the PL-ISEE are further researched. Whole platform framework is composed of core asset objects management service and core assets database system. The data model and database schema of the assets database system are designed and created by united object oriented concept and data model. Moreover, the database supporting platform's functions and configuration also well satisfy the requirements of interfaces, tools and data integration as well as product line assembling production in the new industrialized PL-ISEE. Therefore, the design and realizing ideas of the PL-ISEE database platform will be valuable to research product line engineering and methodology in future. Source

Using the automated production and management system of modern manufacturing industry production line for reference, a new industrialized PL-ISEE architecture model is firstly proposed. This new PL-ISEE model is a hierarchy model which consists of three layers of interface, tool and data layer. This PL-ISEE will provide a double development environment with core asset component bus. On the bus or data layer, it is a PL-ISEE similar to modern industrialized product line, which realizes the assembling production of product line software products; All asset components needed on software assembling line can be provided by core asset components bus in the data layer; under the bus or data layer, it is a traditional ISEE based on traditional software engineering methodology, which supports the development of the source program and documents of core asset components. And then, the framework and realizing mechanism of the new PL-ISEE and its database platform based on CORBA are completely proposed and discussed. The research ideas and realizing method of the new PL-ISEE will be very significant to research software product line engineering and methodology in the future. Source

Through the research and analysis of the present applied engineering talents training mode and management situation to Chinese technological universities, an innovative management and evaluation system of the universities practical teaching quality based on high-end practice teaching environment is designed. Simultaneously, the comprehensive quantitative evaluation of practical teaching quality is achieved by a new improved fuzzy synthesis evaluation method. The experimental results show that the proposed method is practical, accurate and reliable. On the other hand, the research and application of this evaluation system and method could provide guidance for constructing the infrastructure and high-end practice environment of university practical teaching as well as improving the quality of practical teaching.
