In recent years, medical technologies are gradually developed and various kinds of expert diagnostic systems are gradually proposed. The expert system of internal medicine diagnosis is one of the important systems. In this paper, the design principle and functional modules of the expert system of internal medicine diagnosis are introduced. The calculation steps and the implementation procedures of computational calculation are also provided. With the expert system of BP neural network as the major research objects, this paper briefly explains the concept of BP neural network, provides the actual example with iron-deficiency anemia as the diagnostic object, and verifies the authenticity of this expert system diagnosis. © Owned by the authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2015.

The aim of this study was to investigate the chemical differences between genuine Inula britannica L. (I. britannica) and substitute specimens. A linear ion trap LC-MS/MS analytical method has been developed for the identification and quantification of 15 major components from I. britannica. Data acquisition was performed in multiple-reaction-monitoring transitions mode followed by an information-dependent acquisition using the enhanced product ion (EPI) scan in one run. The target compounds were further identified and confirmed using an EPI spectral library. The determination results of 45 batches of samples were then analysed and classified by principal component analysis (PCA). The content of 11 components could be used to distinguish the two official Flos Inulae species (I. britannica and Inula japonica) from unofficial species (Inula hupehensis), and the content of 3 components could be used to differentiate the two official species. © 2013 Elsevier Ltd. A series of aromatic diketone derivatives were designed and synthesized as potential HIV-1 integrase (IN) inhibitors and evaluated to determine their ability to inhibit the strand transfer process of HIV-1 integrase. The results indicate that (Z)-1-(3-acetyl-2-hydroxy-4,6-dimethoxyphenyl)-3-hydroxy-3-(substituted)phenylprop-2-en-1-one (5a-5d) can moderately inhibit HIV-1 integrase. The cyclization and condensation products (6a-6c and 7e-7f) of compounds 5a-5d show poor inhibitory activity against HIV-1 integrase. The molecular docking results indicate that the different types of compounds act on HIV-1 integrase in different ways, and these results can explain the differences in the inhibitory activities. © 2015 Bentham Science Publishers.
