Revue Francophone des Laboratoires | Year: 2013

The board review (BR) seen in the section 4.15 of the NF EN ISO 15189 standards is a key step for the company. This point has been unfolded in four points. The first one defines the purpose and the applications' field. The second defines mainly the contents but not only. The third one reminds mostly the efficient combination of the BR to the dispensing of patient care. Finally, the last point presents the need of a large communication of the BR contents to keep the stuff fully informed. This review is not only a list of actions and indicators but as well a tool of communication and learning about the quality process. It does offer an excellent mean to keep the board informed about the engaged projects and action plan in place as well as highlight the continuous improvements of the patient care services, which is the whole company's focus. Two stakes seemed to be important while preparing this review:In this meeting, we would like to encourage the board members to spread the word about the last year's achieved projects to the company stuff to keep them informed and aware about the quality topic.Revitalize the board member's involvement, among others, in driving and initiating new projects for the next year. Beyond the BR content, our daily focus in the quality department, the presentation and the style must be clear, attractive and dynamic to make this review a key communication base. It must allow a better understanding of our job and bring more comfort to the various engagements of all other departments as well as highlight the daily emerging needs in our workplace in terms of quality process. © 2013 - Elsevier Masson SAS - Tous droits réservés.
