Because of the spread of using social networking service in various situations, it is becoming easier to transmit information. However, the communication channel of SNS has some negative aspects like a lack of rich expressions of information compared to the communication channel of face-to-face (FTF). Also, in the FTF communication environment, it is necessary to improve a limitation of room or costs of moving to a place. In recent years, under the influence of future uncertainty, much attention has been paid to group decision-making based on discussion as one side of democracy. Deliberation Democracy is one of them. From the viewpoint of information communication technology and deliberation democracy, we will consider effective utilization of Deliberation Support System. In this paper, it is targeted the citizen deliberation or dialogue or discussion. We analyzed that the difference of Communications with the Social Media and FTF type. We clarified the difference of the communications frequency and the content between participants and viewers. As a result, when the case not done was compared when social media were used, a synchronous number of conversations (conversation rates) obtained the difference (93.6% (social media use), 67.6% (Do not use it)). Therefore, social media are used, their active was clarified. Moreover, it was clarified that the extension of the discussion that had been occasionally expressed only by the discussion between the performers tended to be brought by the viewer in the analysis of a qualitative content. © 2016 IEEE.

In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the number of patients suffering from mood disorders such as manic depression, reaching 1.04 million in 2008. In our modern society, with its multitude of stressors that we encounter on a daily basis, we develop a high risk of developing such disorders, which have come to be known as 'modern-day illness9. A characteristic of mental disorders is that there is a risk of developing them at the unconscious level, and even if the patient were to detect the condition, they are difficult to treat. Furthermore, while there are tests that evaluate the level of stress, these tests still have many elements that are arbitrary and subjective between the tester and the patient. Therefore, it is extremely important to be able to objectively assess ones stress levels, as well as to raise awareness of and pay attention to internal signals in order to control the level of risk, and in cases where that risk is found to be high, to create a mechanism which provides medical help. Thus, this study aims to visualize the internal signals through the finger plethysmogram which is affected by stress, develop a system to provide assistance in returning stress to normal levels, and assisting in helping patients manage their own risk levels. © 2012 IEEE.

The ambulance service, the rapidity and the usefulness of the HEMS are rated highly, and it is also effective in reducing regional medical service differences which have occurred in recent years. . The captain flies without using visual assistance to keep some distance between the helicopter and clouds or obstacles. Under the present conditions, the CS and the captain of HEMS contact each other and select the safest flight path. With the increase in future requests, conducting safe and effective navigation is a challenge of the CS. However, the CS is sent from an airline in rotation so it is difficult to say that all CSs conduct their duties with profound knowledge and experience about the detailed weather and land forms in the navigation area. In addition, a reasonable amount of time is needed to standardize their knowledge and experience. Consequently in our research, we focused on the understanding and assessment of the situation and the process of the decision-making and then analyzed them. We also interviewed the CS directly, and proposed to develop a system which can make up for the differences in the knowledge and experience of individual CSs. © 2012 IEEE.

This article examines the optimal environmental regulation in a mixed duopolistic market wherein environmental damage is associated with production. Specifically, the effects of partial privatization on optimal policy choices, environmental damage, and social welfare are examined under three regimes: no regulation, direct regulation on emission, and the indirect regulation via Pigouvian tax. The common result under the different regimes of regulation is that the optimal level of environmental regulation critically depends on the degree of privatization, and its relationship is not monotonous. Furthermore, results show that while privatization results in different impacts on policy choices, environmental damage, and social welfare under the three different regimes, it is mostly compatible with an improvement in environmental quality. © 2009, Springer Japan.

We consider the relationship between passenger behaviour and airline behaviour through flight scheduling and price competition. We focus on how an option for early ticket purchase affects the competition between two airlines. In our model, airlines set two ticket prices for passengers: one before the passengers know when they would take the flight; and the other after they know the most preferable time to take the flight. We find that in a subgame perfect equilibrium, airlines operate flights on an efficient schedule from the perspective of passengers.

Currently, food products are displayed in convenience stores on the basis of employee subjectivity. An investigation of convenience store "A," revealed the following issues. First, the only instructions provided by the headquarters concerning the display of food products are with respect to their distribution. Second, the data available on the store computer is currently unsuitable for answering employee requests. The current system classifies the sales data according to the month, week, day, and time zone. However, any elements employees refer to with respect to the display food products are missing because the value fluctuates violently in such raw data. Detailed information is required about the elements that are referred to by employees with respect to displaying food products because this information changes every time there is a change in the weather forecast and number of customers. Subsequently, as indicated in Figure 1, system models establish the hypothesis that the number of products sold depends on each element by using Bayes's theorem and expression of Linke. © 2010 IEEE.

Most of the students who present their studies at student sessions are taking the science course, but in recent years students in the humanity course are also presenting the studies at information process society. Most of the students who present the studies at an academic society belong to organizations which specialize in the studies - seminars, and teachers help students get more information. Students do the studies with the information and present the outcome of indivisual studies or joint studies at an academic society. This is how the system of organizations (seminars) works in the presentation at an academic society. In this report, we target for the students in the humanity course, and considered the process of studies and how to manage organizations for the National Convention in the 50th anniversary of the foundation of information process society, which was held in march. © 2010 IEEE.
