Sections of the ammonium nitrate-acetamide-urea-water quaternary system were studied by the visual polythermal method over wide temperature and concentration ranges. The system was found to be of the simple eutonic type. Agrochemical studies of one of the mixtures in this system that comprises 24.15% ammonium nitrate, 19.95% urea, 30% water, and 25.90% acetamide showed that this mixture is a fertilizer that increases the corn yield in terms of both green mass and grain. © Pleiades Publishing, Ltd., 2011.
