The features and the richness of the language of each nation is generally determined by the stocks of set expressions formed and gathered for centuries during the course of development of those people. Set expressions are a mirror of the culture of those people who speak in this language. The description of people's lives and national psychology are reflected in it. Among these, set expressions related with the names of plants play a special role. About 6000 names of plants (by B. Kaliyev), about 1500 names according to their structures (by Sh. Kurmanbayev), and about 1300 set expressions have been collected in the Kazakh language. Plants are so closely related to humans, that the nature of people, their worldviews, beliefs, customs and traditions are freely described by plants through language and they soaked into the consciousness of the people. Because important data about the names of different substances, phenomena, their description, social relations, traditions and customs, came to current generation only through linguistic means, i. e through words and set expressions, phrases, collocations and proverbs, fairy tales and legends. In the article the results of ascertaining experiment reflecting a real condition of the educating process on political culture of seniors at modern schools of Kazakhstan are presented. Authors of the article in detail analyze political life of Kazakh society, the reason of decrease in the level of political culture of the population in the country and growth of its patriarchate. On the basis of the offered model of education of political culture and the carried-out research with students, the level of a development of this phenomenon was defined, and readiness of teachers for implementation of ideological and political education of younger generation is defined. The paper presents new approaches for assessing the conservation value of plant communities based on the use of quantitative criteria contained in databases and eco-floristic classification of steppe vegetation in the Don basin (Rostov region). The Black Sea and Kazakhstan steppes have significant potential for environmental protection. Analysis of biodiversity levels has been facilitated by descriptions of plant communities and quantitative indicators of major faunal groups of soil invertebrates (macrofauna) in the Tobol-Turgai basin (Kostanay region, Kazakhstan). As the structure of soil invertebrate communities is closely associated with vegetation, its assessment can provide insight into the degree of preservation or the depth of disturbance of ecosystems such as those found in the Black Sea and Kazakhstan steppes. Steppe is among the most endangered biomes of the world, especially in Eastern Europe, where more than 90 % of original steppes have been destroyed due to conversion into croplands, afforestation and other human activities. Currently, steppe vegetation is often restricted to places unsuitable for ploughing, such as ancient burial mounds called kurgans. The aim of our study was to collect and synthesise existing knowledge on kurgans by a review of research papers and grey literature. The proportion of kurgans covered by steppe vegetation increases from west to east and from lowlands to uplands. Despite their small size, kurgans act as biodiversity hotspots and harbour many red-listed species. High overall species richness and a high proportion of grassland specialists are maintained by a pronounced fine-scale environmental heterogeneity. The main factors threatening the biodiversity of kurgans are intensified agriculture and construction works. We conclude that kurgans can play a crucial role in preserving steppe vegetation, especially in intensively used agricultural landscapes in the western part of the steppe zone. Despite the vital role of kurgans in sustaining steppe vegetation, we identified serious knowledge gaps on their distribution, vegetation, flora and fauna and their potential role in steppe restoration. © 2016 Springer Science+Business Media Dordrecht Source

The article covers a pressing issue of virtual communication between young people. If the environment of virtual communication is organized, it enables the effective use of its educational potential and the reduction of its negative impact upon the user. A special part is assigned to a youth non-governmental organization - a social institution which provides its personnel and methods for organizing this environment. A long-term social project "Time to Be Near" is proposed to make virtual communication of young people more educational. This project includes a set of pedagogical measures in virtual reality.
