Provided is an alumina composite ceramic composition which has electrical insulation properties as well as better mechanical strength and thermal conductivity than a typical alumina-based material. Thus, the alumina composite ceramic composition is promising for a material of a substrate or an insulating package of an electronic device. The alumina composite ceramic composition of the present invention may include alumina (Al_(2)O_(3)), zirconia (ZrO_(2)) or yttria-stabilized zirconia as a first additive, and graphene oxide and carbon nanotubes, as a second additive. In this case, in consideration of two aspects of sinterability and electrical resistivity characteristics of the alumina composite ceramic composition, the graphene oxide may be appropriately adjusted to be in the form of a graphene oxide phase and a reduced graphene phase which coexist in the alumina composite ceramic composition.

The present invention relates to polycrystalline gallium-doped zinc oxide of which the power factor is improved due to increased gallium doping of same. Despite having a high carrier concentration, the Seebeck coefficient of Zn_(0.985)Ga_(0.015)O is higher than that of Zn_(0.990)Ga_(0.010)O, and this arises because of the effect of the density-of-states (DOS) effective mass. A steady increase in compression stress following gallium substitution occurs in the base portion of the conduction band DOS. The solubility limit of gallium in the zinc oxide matrix is increased because a low firing temperature accelerates chemical compression. Single phase n-type Zn_(0.985)Ga_(0.015)O exhibits a power factor of 12.5 Wcm^(1)K^(2).

An organic-inorganic composite including: a plurality of anisotropic ceramic particles having different aspect ratios; a resin that is combined with the ceramic particles; and a plurality of projections projecting out from the surface of the ceramic particles, thereby increasing the shear resistance of the interface between the ceramic particles and the resin. At least some of the ceramic particles neighboring each other are closely arranged such that the projections partially contact each other, thereby increasing the shear resistance between the ceramic particles due to the contacting ceramic particles.
