The results of thermal tests on three similar 45 MW gas turbine installations in the Kolomenskoe gas turbine electric power plant, operating using the heat of gases leaving the turbine, to heat the water supply, are presented. The parameters and characteristics of these gas turbine installations are determined over a wide range of operating conditions as regards the electric loads and the temperatures of the external air. The operating conditions and characteristics of the compressors, the combustion chamber, the turbines and the water boilers- recoverers are also found. © 2011 Springer Science + Business Media, Inc.
