A microblogs data management system and method that includes receiving, via communication circuitry, microblogs from a plurality of sources, storing, in a memory, the microblogs wherein the memory is temporally partitioned, transferring, using processing circuitry, a batch of the microblogs to an intermediate disk buffer when the memory is full, wherein the batch of the microblogs is selected based on a query and a temporal flushing policy, and transferring microblogs stored in the intermediate disk buffer to disk indexes.

The cathodized gold nanoparticle graphite pencil electrode is a sensitive enzymeless electrochemical glucose sensor based on the cathodization of AuNP-GPE. Cyclic voltammetry shows that advantageously, the cathodized AuNP-GPE is able to oxidize glucose partially at low potential (around 0.27 V). Fructose and sucrose cannot be oxidized at <0.1 V, thus the glucose oxidation peak at around 0.27 V is suitable enough for selective detection of glucose in the presence of fructose and sucrose. However, the glucose oxidation peak current at around 0.27 V is much lower which should be enhanced to obtain low detection limit. The Portland cement type-G with nanosilica additive for high pressure-high temperature applications is a mixture of about 1.0%-2.0% by dry weight of nanoparticles of hydrophilic silica, with type-G Portland cement (and other admixtures) forming the balance of the mixture. The cement so formed is suitable for use in deep petroleum wells, which require cement that can be introduced under high temperature (about 290 F.) and high pressure (about 8,000-9,000 PSI) conditions. The addition of hydrophilic nanosilica shortens the thickening time for the cement slurry and causes a growth in the average compressive strength of the cement. In addition, the hydrophilic nanosilica does not cause any free water separation from the cement slurry column after aging.
