Aiming at a tunnel driven by a large-diameter slurry shield passing beneath embankment, it predicted embankment subsidence based on the simulated calculation through 3D non-linear finite element model established with finite element software ANSYS10.0 and considering the combined action of structure, soil, and tunnel. Meanwhile, a numerical analysis on such construction parameters as slurry pressure, shield posture and synchronous grouting was carried out to understand the construction parameters and relevant ground settlement law, and to verify the validity of this prediction method. ©, 2015, Editorial Office of "Modern Tunnelling Technology".
