As the pace of BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) product industrialization is accelerating, research on the internal performance of BDS receiver is in great demand. This paper focuses on a method for internal noise levels in high-precision GPS/BDS compatible receivers. A single difference residual method is introduced to test for internal noise based on measured data. Results show that the single difference residual method can test for internal noise in GPS/BDS compatible receivers effectively and is more applicable to BDS designed with hybrid constellations. ©, 2015, Wuhan University.
