4πβ-γ coincidence counting system is a high-performance electronics system designed for 4πβ (LS)-γ radioactivity primary standard. As compared with the conventional analog system, it can perform real-time signal processing and storage for the latter coincidence calculation. This paper introduces the architecture of the coincidence counting system and its workflow, as well as the format and the amount of data transferred. It describes software development process and methods of processing large amounts of data, DMA specific operations and offline data processing software. Software running on the XP system based on PXI chassis can achieve stable 30 MBps writing speed. Meanwhile, the software provides a friendly interface.
