Study on adsorption thermodynamics and kinetics of Lipoic acid by NG-16, NDA-100 and ND-90 resin was carried out through static experiments. The results showed that the adsorption of Lipoic acid on NG-16 resin is Langmuir monolayer, and the adsorption rate appears to be the first order kinetics. The adsorption date of Lipoic acid on NDA-100 and ND-90 resin also were described well by the Langmuir isotherm, which was caused by the capillary condensation and the volume filling of micropores besides monolayer adsorption. When the concentration of Lipoic acid is higher than 400mg/L, the capillary condensation and the volume filling of micropores act the main part. The adsorption of Lipoic acid on NDA-100 and ND-90 resin pass through two phases: macropores, mespores area and micropores area. And the adsorptions in micropores area are described well by the Dubinin-Radushkevich isotherm. The adsorption rates of the two phases are the first order kinetics. © (2010) Trans Tech Publications. An experimental research on comprehensive recovery of associated apatite from certain iron tailings in China was carried out. The phosphorus flotation is realized at low temperature through the application of the new, more efficient AW series collector. The test results showed that the concentrate whose P2O5 grade was 33.50%,recovery was 92.18% was obtained for the tailings whose P2O5 grade was 3.05% by one roughing under the pulp temperature of 15°C, thus realizing an effective recovery of apatite from the tailings. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland. The objective of this work was to study the sodium alkali(Na2S03) FGD process in a pilot-scale column packed column of diameter 0.4m. Main operating conditions affecting SO2 removal efficiency were investigated experimentally. These conditions include pH value of the absorption solution, liquid-gas ratio, superficial gas velocity, inlet SO2 concentration, temperature of absorption solution and initial Na2SO3 molar concentration. The relation between the ratio of desulfurization and every parameter was investigated. And the suitable operational conditions of SO2 absorption in lab are recommended. The experimental results show that SO2 removal efficiency may be over 80% under the following conditions: pH=6-7, L/G=1-2L/m3, gas superficial velocity is 1-1.5m/s, absorption solution temperature is under 50°C, initial [Na2SO3]≈0.3-0. 5mol/L, and SO2 initial concentration is 4300 mg/m3. The experimental data can provide the necessary basic data for the design and operation of the practical desulfurization equipments. Source

This paper conducts a study and analyzes five kinds of dust samples of different environment, including an office area,a ground station of the new plant, the first workshop of coking, a top of coke oven and a ground station of the old plant in coking plant and obtaines the distribution pattern of PAHs in the coking dust by the way of ultrasonic extraction and high performance liquid chromatography. The data show that PAHs from the first workshop turns out to be the richest with its content getting up to 12.00 μg·m-3. By analyzing the single component distribution of PAHs, the results show that there are fourteen kinds of PAHs produced at 5 sites. Through analyzing the particle size of coking dust, its size is mainly below 10μm and its contents exceeds to 75%.
