Using hot water extraction method conducts the single factor and orthogonal experiments and explores the best condition to extract three effective ingredients: theaflavin, tea polyphenol, theabrownine from green tea. Through a series of experiments gets the best extraction process: 368.15K, 35 min, ratio 1:40. Using simple method can obtain higher yield, accord with the current trend of low carbon and environmental protection. The paper by leaching tea pigments primarily researched the chemical structure of tea pigments which were gained by infrared spectral analysis and then did ultraviolet-visible spectrum analysis. Using natural tea pigments dyeing cotton fabrics, discussed the influence of the factors of dyeing. Results showed that:to tea pigments the best dyeing temperature, time and pH value were 80 degrees, 50min, pH = 4.0; NaCl dosage for 5g/L the promote effect was obvious; Fe2+ had the most obvious effect of dyeing, compared with other mordant on its color. Using the simple method can obtain natural tea pigments, accord with current "low carbon", "environmental protection" trend. And fabric after dyeing fastness to washing soaps resistance, resistance to sweat fastness, rubbing fastness were good concurrently had good antibacterial, ultraviolet performance. © 2012 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
