The article proposes the examination of educational and methodical support effectiveness aimed to improve teachers’ research competence and organization of mentoring in a college as mechanisms of successful teaching staff members’ corporate competitive development. The leading methods applied in the research were: Content analysis, method of expert evaluations, diagnostic techniques, pedagogical experiment in which 72 teachers and 212 students took part. The article gives a comprehensive account of features characterizing teachers’ educational and methodical support: Strengthening of their motivation for self-education; integration of teachers’ training and research activity; increase of teachers’ printing activity in journals indexed by international quotation and analytical bases; development of self-presentation skills; formation and development of their abilities to work in team. The effectiveness of presented educational and methodical support aimed at improvement of teachers’ research competence has been proved. Substantiation of mentoring system organization in a college is given; it is considered as one of systematic individual work forms of a qualified teacher to form professional knowledge, abilities and experience in the sphere of subject specialization, technique of entrants’ teaching and research activity. © 2016, Econjournals. Models that describe the trace element status formation in the human organism are essential for a correction of micromineral (trace elements) deficiency. A direct trace element retention assessment in the body is difficult due to the many internal mechanisms. The trace element retention is determined by the amount and the ratio of incoming and excreted substance. So, the concentration of trace elements in drinking water characterizes the intake, whereas the element concentration in urine characterizes the excretion. This system can be interpreted as three interrelated elements that are in equilibrium. Since many relationships in the system are not known, the use of standard mathematical models is difficult. The artificial neural network use is suitable for constructing a model in the best way because it can take into account all dependencies in the system implicitly and process inaccurate and incomplete data. We created several neural network models to describe the retentions of trace elements in the human body. On the model basis, we can calculate the microelement levels in the body, knowing the trace element levels in drinking water and urine. These results can be used in health care to provide the population with safe drinking water. © 2017 Yulia Tunakova et al.

Modern industrial manufacturing has high requirements for employees. Workers must continually improve their competence. You must constantly test, train and retrain specialists of enterprises. In the light of manufacturing control problems and cognitive issues of identification, verification and other problems for processes of identification, modeling, and control, intelligent tutoring system for specialists training can be considered as an important part of manufacturing intelligent control and planning system. The development and a pilot implementation of adaptive approaches to the universal computer system of individual training, functioning on the basis of subject and meta knowledge bases and meta knowledge bases with the latest advances in information and communication technologies, and computing and artificial intelligence is a very important part of intelligent control and planning for manufacturing system. Staff must continuously learn novel the techniques and use of the learning system in the educational process for solving practical problems in individual courses within their existing production competence and future qualification requirements. To improve the system functionality and its compliance with the modern educational process needs it is necessary to take into account the comments and suggestions from users. This system also can be used for more productive generation of ideas to improve the system and eliminate bottlenecks. Actually an intelligent tutoring system helps to solve the broader problems, i.e. a learner understands and sees not only one option for solving the a problem task and working on a predetermined pattern, but begins to perceive the subject areas of the enterprise as a part of the whole system. © 2017, International Institute for General Systems Studies. We have presented a new approach to determine the residual stress and energy characteristics of the deformation capacity of thermal barrier coating. This approach consist in obtaining deformation hysteresis that is determined in the deformation elastic zone in the four-point static bending. We have introduced a concept of estimation of relaxation energy density in the elastic zone of deformation of thermal barrier coating.

The problem of service durability of the injection molds for zinc alloys pressure casting was examined. Differences between pressure casting of aluminum and zinc alloys are assigned. Key factors affecting damages of the shape-generating surfaces are considered, including the ones caused by power and temperature influences. It is determined that the greatest negative impact is caused by tensile stresses resulting in arising of new cracks and growth of already existing ones. It is indicated the need of making the additional compression stresses to compensate the tensile stresses impact. These conditions are met by the proposed method of the molds' durability increase, based on the solid multifunctional coverings put by cathode-ion bombardment. The principal advantage of the above mentioned coverings is substantiated by the fact that the positive properties of the single layer are not changed when it is used in a multi-layer structure. There are also determined the key characteristics of nitration presenting the most common way of increasing the service durability of the shape-generating surfaces. The experimental data in support of the proposed theoretical hypothesis are cited. According to these data, the use of multilayer coating put by cathode-ion bombardment allows to increase the quality of the obtained castings in a porosity parameter. Moreover, the service durability indicator of the inserts with a multilayer coating is increased by 25% as compared with the nitration ones and makes about 200 000 cycles of press fittings.

We study the characteristics of the arc plasma torch with a porous wall. The increase in mass flow of gas through the porous wall leads to an increase in thermal efficiency of the plasma torch. Compared it with the characteristics of the plasma torch with interbay gas supply.
