Heat-insulation ceramic materials were obtained on the basis of oil-shale wastes without using conventional raw material. The character of the phase transformations accompanying the firing of the ceramic materials was studied. It was shown that at temperature 950°C the liquid phase formed initiates the crystallization of mullite at firing temperature 1050°C. © 2015 Springer Science+Business Media New York.

This study discusses the problem distributed network attacks, formalized of model of linear kind for differentiate distributed network attacks on the basis of a weight coefficients Structured the formalized mathematical models allow to consider structure of the On network to a basis big percent, a measure of influence of each type of attack that gives the fine chance effectively to design to protect information system taking into account information on threats. Based on classification of information threats, characteristic for distributed network attacks it is offered the formalized models of a linear look for differentiation of attacks on the basis of a method of weight coefficients. The study describes the basic network attacks such as "denial of service", algorithm of operation of malefactors with attacks of this type, techniques of detection of DOS/DDOS/DRDOS attacks in networks of mass service. For detection of DDoS attacks is offered the valuation method of probability of loss of arbitrary request in case of its passing on networks of mass service. Developed the architecture and constructed program implementation of system of detection of DDoS attacks. The developed technique allows to receive an adequate assessment of frequency of loss of requests on a network if the network of mass service is in the stationary mode. © Maxwell Scientific Organization, 2015.

The use of high-alumina nanotechnogenic raw material as grog was found to be expedient for increasing the heat-resistance of clinker brick. As the content of aluminum oxide Al2O3 in a ceramic body compositions increases, the heat-resistance increases and the CLTE decreases when the clinker brick is fired (1250°C). For Al2O3 content in the ceramic body from 41 to 43% the heat-resistance of the clinker brick reaches its maximum value and ranges from 11 to 13 cycles. Regression analysis was used to obtain a mathematical model to determine the heat-resistance of clinker brick at points that were not present in the experimental series. © 2016 Springer Science+Business Media New York

This article is devoted to important aspects of preventing workplace trauma in the ferrous metallurgy industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The article focuses in particular on the Aksu Ferroalloys Plant, which is one of the largest factories in that industry. The use of Kinney’s method to evaluate workplace safety makes it possible to assess risks and implement the organizational, technical, and technological measures necessary to avoid hazardous situations that can lead to emergencies or accidents.
