The paper presents multivariate analysis of the accuracy determination of the seasonal heat demand in the selected public building. The research is based on the linear regression method of the measurement data obtained during the short period of the measurement. The numerical model of the school building was used for the simulation. Impact of ambient climate and building parameters were analyzed. Source

Prediction of energy consumption used for heating and ventilating in habitable buildings is the base for making energetic audits and also for estimating the real power of sources in forecasting heat needs in the future views. Methods exploited for defining season heat requirements in buildings, nominal power are very important tools at terming energy performance of buildings. Predicting energy consumption in Polish conditions is mostly based on balance methods founded in the simplified heat balance of the object and average climate data. We're watching the replace of and simplified analytic at methods using static coastal terms with computer simulations based on numerical methods. This report shows validation of the prediction of consumption for heating and ventilating functions according to average-month balance methods and simulation method for the habitable building from 80s. Verification of the forecasting warmth consumption methods was conducted according to the rule PN-B 02025 and simulation packet TRNSYS, where coastal terms approved in an average-month were copied. In place since 2009, the energy certification of buildings is based on calculation methods. Its aim is to determine energy consumption indicators. As part of the Strategic Project task "The Development of Thermal Diagnostics of Buildings" attempts have been made to determine the building's energy characteristic certificate based on in-situ measurements. Measured energy consumption in the short-term is not representative of, nor comparable to seasonal demand consumption. Therefore, an important part of the task is to develop a method to transpose the seasonal heat consumption on the basis of short, fragmentary measurements in buildings. Of great importance for an accurate determination of energy consumption, using linear regression, is the length of measurement period used for calculation. In the first stage, the analysis was based on the model building calculation using simulation. The article presents a preliminary analysis of the instantaneous demand for heat value obtained by simulation. The preliminary analysis resulted by obtaining varied lengths of the measurement period in the building, in order to achieve accurate estimates of heat demand in buildings by linear regression. Heating the air is one of the basic air conditioning processes. There can be no properly functioning ventilation unit without a functioning heater. To warm air heaters can be used steam, electric, gas and most popular water heaters. Strong pressure on energy saving in all areas of the operation of the building meant that the operation of the air heater in mechanical ventilation systems are subject to frequent evaluation. This paper presents the problem of diagnostic measurements of air heaters. In the description of the problems encountered when determining the instantaneous power heater was used in the research carried out in the real objects equipped with air handling and air conditioning. A large variety of subjects allowed for the study of objects of different sizes heaters and different layouts. Presenting the measurements highlighted the difficulties encountered, for example, the location of the probes and measuring instruments used. Source

Prediction of the energy consumption and heat demand in a building is important both at the design stage as well as during the following period of building exploitation. Designed heat demand is usually much higher than real consumption. The work concerns the problem of the internal heat gains which are one of the most important factors influencing the energy consumption in the building. The multivariant analysis of the impact of internal heat gains on the heat balance in the public building was performed using the simulation methods The two-storey school building was selected as the object of investigation. Numerical model and the computer simulations were done by means of the ESP-r software. Based on the simulation results the analysis of the energy consumption was performed for the different variants of the internal heat gains. Source
