We describe a large-scale geodynamo model based on hypothesis about 6-cells convection in the Earth's core. This hypothesis suggests indirect data of inhomogeneities in the density of the Earth?s core. The convection pattern is associated with a spherical harmonic Y2 4 which defines the basic poloidal component of velocity. The model takes into account the feedback effect of the magnetic field on convection. It was ascertained that the model contains stable regimes of field generation with reversals. The velocity of convection and the dipole component of the magnetic field are similar to the observed ones. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2016.

The work was a mathematical model that describes the effect of the sliding attachment (stick-slip), taking into account hereditarity. This model can be regarded as a mechanical model of earthquake preparation. Work is devoted to mathematical modelling hereditarity oscillatory systems with the help of the mathematical apparatus of fractional calculus on the example of an Airy oscillator with friction. Model Airy equation was written in terms of Gerasimov - Caputo fractional derivatives. Next a finite-difference scheme to this generalized equation for numerical computation was proposed. The problems of approximation, stability and convergence of a numerical scheme are considered. The results of simulations are presented based on numerical solutions waveforms and phase trajectories depending on different values of the control parameters are built.

Studying the issues of implementation of financial support of tour operator activities in the Russian Federation, which have so far impeded the guaranteeing of protection of rights and legitimate interests of Russian tourists at a proper level, allows to formulate practical recommendations and suggestions for improvement of Russian legislation in order to enhance the efficiency of legal regulation of tourism field and protection of rights and legitimate interests of Russian citizens. The article presents a comparative study of the Russian financial guarantee institution and its foreign analogues, defines the causes of emergence of the institution of financial support of tour operator activities in Russian legislation and imposition of a prohibition on tour operator activities. We have come to the conclusion that acknowledgment of financial support of tour operator activities as financial guarantees of tour operator’s liability. Analysis of current Russian legislation allowed to detect its contradictions and develop practical recommendations for improvement of Russian tourism legislation. In particular, it allowed to draw a conclusion of the need to eliminate the non-conformance of standards of article 17.6 of the Federal law NO 132-FZ “On foundations of tourist activity in the Russian Federation” (“Tourist activity law” further on) issued on 24.11.1996 to the standards of item 1 of article 48; item 1 of article 53; item 1, item 3 of article 56; article 402 of the Civil code of the Russian Federation (part one); federal law № 51-FZ issued on 30.11.1994 (the Civil code of the Russian Federation). © Svetlana Valeryevna Zavyalova, 2016.

The aim of the article is to analyze the words-members of gender-species group „Denotations of wooden fishing gears in Kamchadal‟s dialects from the point of view of systematic and structure‟. There are some proofs of graduated character of gender-species relationships in the article, the semantic structure of common Russian and dialect lexemes, their differential and motivational features were defined. The discovery of the bark beetle Dryocoetes krivolutzkajae Mandelshtam, 2001 (Scolytidae) on Verkhoturova Island (Bering Sea, Northeastern Kamchatka) in the roots of Rhodiola rosea L. (Crassulaceae) is reported. This is the first and only bark beetle of tundra forestless landscapes; the species is classified as an endemic of Kamchatka and Russia in general. © 2013 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.

The process of globalization in modern world has affected all spheres of our life - politics, economy and culture. To realize these processes people should have a common means of communication - a lingua franca. The English language has become this lingua franca due to many reasons, as about 1,5 billion people speak English today. This article deals with the relationship of Lingua Franca English and Euro-English and the adequacy of lingua franca to represent the sociolinguistic situation in Europe.

The paper deals with the model of variable-order nonlinear hereditary oscillator based on a numerical finite-difference scheme. Numerical experiments have been carried out to evaluate the stability and convergence of the difference scheme. It is argued that the approximation, stability and convergence are of the first order, while the scheme is stable and converges to the exact solution. © 2016 Archives of Control Sciences 2016.
