Swallowing function, in humans, is very complex. Swallowing plays, not only an important role in food digestion, but also a major role in preventing the entrance of food and/or other materials into the lower respiratory tract. To achieve this, precise coordination is necessary between breathing and swallowing since the pharynx serves as a common pathway for both respiration and digestion. The swallowing reflex consists of afferent pathways, central integration, and efferent pathways. Any defect or disorder along reflex arc can cause a potential delay or impairment in swallow function. The swallowing reflex can be modulated not only by pathological factors but also by physiological factors. Among these, timing of swallows in relation to the phase of respiration may be the most important factor that determines the occurrence of pulmonary aspiration, since phases of inspiration and the expiration-inspiration transition are the most vulnerable for pulmonary aspiration.© 2013 Nishino.

Provided are: a conductive paste in which sinterability of silver particles the conductive paste can be easily controlled by using silver particles having predetermined crystal transformation characteristics defined by an XRD analysis, and after a sintering treatment, excellent electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity can be stably obtained; and a die bonding method using the conductive paste. Disclosed is a conductive paste which includes silver particles having a volume average particle size of 0.1 to 30 m as a sinterable conductive material, and a dispersing medium for making a paste-like form, and in which when the integrated intensity of the peak at 2=380.2 in the X-ray diffraction chart obtainable by an XRD analysis before a sintering treatment of the silver particles is designated as S1, and the integrated intensity of the peak at 2=380.2 in the X-ray diffraction chart obtainable by an XRD analysis after a sintering treatment (250 C., 60 minutes) of the silver particles is designated as S2, the value of S2/S1 is adjusted to a value within the range of 0.2 to 0.8.

To provide a solution applicator with which irritation on an affected part of a patient may be reduced even when a solution is used. According to the present invention, an applicator comprises a solution container which comprises an opening, and a columnar brush member formed by bundling synthetic fibers in a columnar shape. The columnar brush member is disposed at the opening of the solution container, a tip portion of the columnar brush member at an outside of the solution container has a fan shape expanding in a perpendicular lateral direction against a pillar axial lengthwise direction, and a thickness of the fan-shaped tip portion of the columnar brush member decreases in a perpendicular lengthwise direction against the pillar axial lengthwise direction toward the tip portion of the columnar brush member. The solution applicator of the present invention has the fan-shaped tip portion so that irritation on an affected part may be decreased and a liquid tinea unguium medicine may be applied to the affected part.
