Global connectivity provided praxis for data transactions. Data or information is available in different forms like text, image, audio, video etc. Security mechanisms are aimed at security algorithms with an assumption that the information is in bit stream. Human understanding in practice deals with information other than bit stream. In the transaction process of information, users allow human understandable format of data. A simple case of text data may deal with various types of scripts represented in multiple combinations of bit streams. Transformation of the basic characteristics that are embodied in the script is an interesting area to be explored in security models. Decipherment problems related to message equivocation is mainly dependent on the statistical complexity of script. The present work is aimed at analyzing the basic characteristics of a script in the form of frequency distribution of character code points. The proposed model is evaluated on Telugu script as a case study with a comparison on Latin text. The evaluation is limited to 8-bit and 16-bit key sizes.

Today, there is almost no area of technical endeavor that is not impacted in some way or the other by digital image processing. The principle objective of enhancement is to process an image so that the result is more suitable than original image for specific application. When an image is processed for visual interpretation, the viewer is the ultimate judge of how well a particular method works. Histograms, basis for numerical spatial domain processing techniques provides useful image statistics. These are simple to calculate in software and also lend themselves to economic hardware implementations, thus making them a popular tool for real-time image processing. The transformation or mapping of each pixel of input image into a corresponding pixel of the processed output image is called as "Histogram Equalization". It is "automatic", the process which is based on information that can be extracted directly from given image, without the need for further parameter specifications. Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder that characterized by inability of the pancreas to control blood glucose concentration.80% of deaths in Diabetic patients are due to heart diseases. The main objective of this paper is to observe enhancement of Electron micrograph image of a myocardial capillary from a diabetic patient, and to get image information, pixel regions, Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) and intensity adjustment which mainly helps to educate the diabetic patients to prevent cardiac complications i.e., Diabetic Cardiomyopathy using MA TLAB. © 2010 IEEE.

Dissipation of heat from electronic components is a general phenomenon, and in the past several methods like the use of heat sinks, fans, coolers and convection methods have been used. The latest invention for cooling of electronic components is the heat pipes. The time of beginning of heat pipe science was near 40 years ago with first heat pipe definition and prediction of most simple cases. The interest stems in achieving extremely high heat flux near 1000W/cm2, needed for the future generation electronic cooling application. Now at the computer age some changes of basic equations are performed, more powerful predicting methods are available with increasing awareness of complexity of heat pipes and new heat pipe generations. But even today heat pipes are not completely understood and solution strategies still contain significant simplifications depending upon its applications. Micro and miniature heat pipes have some additional complications due to its small size. A review of heat pipes is presented in this paper. ©2010 IEEE.

This paper proposes a novel oblivious image watermarking technique for the copyright protection and authentication of still images, based on Discrete Multiwavelet Transform (DMWT) and Quantization Index Modulus Modulation (QIMM). The multiwavelet coefficients of an image are quantized using QIMM and the coefficients are modified according to the binary watermark logo. Watermark extraction does not require the original image. Experimental results show that, the proposed watermarking scheme is robust to image compression and rotational attacks. It is superior to the method proposed by Lin et al. [10] in terms of Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Bit Error Rate (BER). © 2011 ACADEMY PUBLISHER.

This paper presents on-line efficient detection and adaption of rotor resistance in the Indirect Vector control of induction motor. As the rotor resistance variations occur during the normal running condition of motor, it can cause performance deterioration unless it is detected and compensated. In this paper a novel approach for rotor resistance determination is proposed directly from decoupled stator voltage and currents and the response of speed, torque and currents are examined by including rotor resistance variations. The proposed method in the paper will definitely overcome the problems related to rotor resistance variations and improves the performance of Vector control. © 2012 IEEE.

In this paper Online estimation of Stator resistance in indirect vector control of Induction motor directly from the decoupled stator quantities is presented via reactive power measurement and rotor and stator fluxes. In vector control since the detection of flux quantity is mandatory. But the detection of flux from stator quantities is prone to errors because of stator resistance variation, so it needs to be estimated. The effect of stator resistance on flux, torque and currents are analyzed both under steady state and transient conditions. © 2012 IEEE.

This paper introduces a new coordinated voltage control scheme for enhance the network voltage profile and for reducing the steady -state loading of the STATCOM to effectively maintain the system during contingencies or faults. When the power system operating under tighter constraints and closer to their operating limits then the main critical concern is on voltage stability and compensation of the reactive power required for the system. This paper discusses difficulties faced by the STATCOM, because the Conventional PI-Controller used for regulating DC link voltage. The conventional controller does not give the better performance for wide operating conditions. In this paper, the Fuzzy Logic Controller based STATCOM is designed and compared with Conventional Proportional - Integral (PI) Controller based STATCOM. A new coordinated voltage control scheme comprising FLC based STATCOM and ULTC transformer. The comprehensive results of the PI and Fuzzy Logic Controlled based STATCOM are also presented. © Research India Publications.

A simple, sensitive and accurate spectrophotometric method was described for the determination of Gemifloxacin mesylate (GFX) a broad spectrum flouroquinolone anti bacterial either in pure form or in the tablet.The method is based on chelate formation between GFX and Chromium(Cr III) in aqueous media. The complex showed an absorption maximum at 545nm for zero order,Ist derivative at 620nm and Second derivative at 660nm respectively with apparent molar absorpitivities of 1.07×104 L-M-1Cm-1,,7.01×103 L-M-1 Cm-1 for Ist order derivative, 1.04×104 LM-1Cm-1 for 2nd order derivative respectively. The solution of the complex obeyed beer's law in the concentration range of 2 to 20μg/ml for zero order,1 to 15 μg/ml for Ist order and 1 to 25 μg/ml for 2nd order respectively. The limit of detection and Limit of quantification were calculated and RSD were less than 0.2866. The chelate composition between GFX and Cr(III) ion was found to be 1:1 ratio determined by Job's continuous method and by Molar ratio method. The proposed method was applied for the determination of GFX in tablets without interference from common excipients. The results obtained by the application of this procedure showed percentage recoveries were 99.9±0.1463 for zero order, 100.2±0.1065 for Ist order and 100.6±0.1589 for 2nd order respectively.

The solution of the complex obeyed beer's law in the concentration range of 2to 14 μg/ml for zero order,1 to 10 μg/ml for Ist order and 1to 15 μg/ml for 2nd order respectively. The limit of detection and Limit of quantification were calculated and RSD were less than 0.153. The chelate composition between GFX and Pd(II) ion was found to be 1:1 ratio determined by Job's continuous method and by Molar ratio method. The proposed method was applied for the determination of GFX in tablets without interference from common excipients. The results obtained by the application of this procedure showed percentage recoveries were 99.8±0.153 for zero order, 100.02±0.177 for Ist order and 100.045±0.139 for 2nd order respectively.
