The current EVP program in China is facing many challenges such as the incomplete teaching reform, misconceptions in the use of network technologies and the lack of in-depth scientific research into English courses and teaching. To address these problems, an ecological teaching model that consists of classroom teaching and teaching in virtual environments by developing a web-based EVP teaching platform is constructed. The teaching platform, designed in accordance with higher vocational college students' characteristics, adopts the course structure of "basic college English +industry-specific English", which is effective to stimulate the students' learning motivation and enhance the teaching quality. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland. The study of student activities in university campuses can enable the teachers to conduct individualized, classified student management in a more convenient, intelligent and accurate way, bring significant innovation to the student-management work in the university and enhance the efficiency of student management. In this paper, the computer system of university-student activity management is deeply studied using the optimized K-means algorithm. The optimal K value for clustering is calculated; six major features of campus behaviors- namely, intellectual performance, financial condition, amount of scholarship, moral achievement, sports achievement and competition performance-are used as the six dimensions of K-means clustering, and are coupled with the dimensional matrix coefficient to cluster the behavioral characteristics of the students; finally, the prominent behavioral characteristics of several categories of students are analyzed, so as to provide reliable data weight values to the computer system of university student management service. The objective of this study was to evaluate the occurrence of aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) in raw milk samples from 18 dairy farms in the Yangtze River Delta region during four different seasons. A total of 72 tank milk samples was collected with 18 samples for each season. Milk AFM1 was detected using LC-MS/MS. The AFM1 was detected in 43 milk samples (59.7%) ranging in concentration from 10 to 420ng/L. The concentration of AFM1 in raw milk was significantly higher during the winter (123ng/L) than during other seasons (P<0.05). There was no significant difference between the spring (29.1ng/L), summer (31.9ng/L), and autumn (31.6ng/L) (P>0.05) seasons. This indicates that raw milk collected during the winter is at high risk for AFM1 and that seasonal factors should be considered for the management of aflatoxins in both the feed and milk. © 2013 Elsevier Ltd. QoS multicast is an important research topic in communication sciences. In order to find a better resolution, this paper has adopted Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to solve the QoS multicast router problems. PSO is a new intelligent algorithm which can converges to the optimal solution within a relatively short period of time, being multimode, non-convex, and non-integral. We can then conduct the simulation of the network structure for different number of nodes, and then we compare the algorithms with the genetic and manual colony methods. The result of the simulation show that the PSO is better than both of the genetic and manual colony methods, and the greater the number of the nodes, the more advantages the performance of PSO is.
