The Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute is situated in Jingdezhen city in Jiangxi province in the People's Republic of China. It is the only institute of higher learning in China dedicated to the study of ceramic arts. The area of Jingdezhen is historically significant in the development and production of Chinese ceramics. Thus, this university serves the role of linking up modern educational techniques and infrastructure with a well-rooted source of ancient Chinese lore and tradition. Its prominent graduated students are artists such as Jackson Li. Wikipedia.

In this study, we reported the synthesis of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) polymers via initiators for continuous activator regeneration atom transfer radical polymerization using CCl 4 as initiator, FeCl 3·6H 2O/hexamethylene tetramine as catalyst complex, and 2,2′-azobis(isobutyronitrile) (AIBN) as reducing agent. The polymerization was conducted at 60 °C in the ionic liquid based microemulsion with hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) as surfactant. Kinetics experimental results showed that the polymerization proceeded in a controlled/'living' process. The effects of the molar ratio of [CCl 4]/[FeCl 3·6H 2O], the concentration of AIBN, temperature and the concentration of CTAB on the polymerization was investigated. The effect of CTAB concentration on the resulting PMMA particle size was also investigated. The obtained polymer was characterized by proton nuclear magnetic resonance and gel permeation chromatography. The living characteristics were demonstrated by chain extension experiment. © 2012 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

With the change of internet technology and the coming of information explosion, the mass of information can meet the needs of people searching in a certain extent. But it also caused information loss and spread etc.. The traditional solution is using keyword query of search engine to realize information, the information classified. But this method is based on the hot information of mass, it doesn't have certain timeliness. Based on this, this paper improves TFIDF model, put forward Web high precision matching tracking technique based on time frequency. It can carry out a full range of filtration for web information, is simple and effective to search the information which the customer need, with a high timeliness. A great challenge for the probabilistic rough set models is the acquirement of a pair of thresholds. Different thresholds may lead to different decision results. How to choose the proper thresholds thus becomes an important task. In this paper, we introduce golden ratio for the parameter selection in probabilistic rough set models. New models are proposed based on Pawlak rough set, probabilistic rough sets, variable precision rough set and Bayes rough set. Golden ratio is introduced as parameters for reference in these new models. Some properties of the model are discussed. For fuzziness and vagueness in nature, new rough set models in fuzzy system is defined by considering golden ratio. New rough set models constructed in this paper can help people deal with problems of life differ widely or in different environmental conditions under the predominant mood among decision-makers.

Laboratory-scale experiments were conducted in order to evaluate the performance of a novel treatment process for oilfield wastewater based on combining chemical oxidation, performed by a zerovalent iron (ZVI), ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA) and air process, with biological degradation, carried out in a batch activated sludge reactor. The influence of some operating variables was studied. The results showed that the optimum pretreatment conditions were 150 mg/L EDTA, 20 g/L ZVI, and a 180-min reaction time, respectively. Under these conditions, removal efficiencies for hydrolyzed polyacrylamide (HPAM), total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH), and chemical oxygen demand (COD) were 66%, 59%, and 45%, respectively. During the subsequent 40 h of bioremediation, the concentrations of HPAM, TPH, and COD were decreased to 10, 2 and 85 mg/L, respectively. At the end of experiments, the total removal efficiencies of HPAM, TPH, and COD were 96%, 97% and 92%, respectively. © 2010 Elsevier Ltd.

Biostimulation with inorganic fertilizer and bioaugmentation with hydrocarbon utilizing indigenous bacteria were employed as remedial options for 12 weeks in a crude oil-contaminated soil. To promote oil removal, biocarrier for immobilization of indigenous hydrocarbon-degrading bacteria was developed using peanut hull powder. Biodegradation was enhanced with free-living bacterial culture and biocarrier with a total petroleum hydrocarbon removal ranging from 26% to 61% after a 12-week treatment. Oil removal was also enhanced when peanut hull powder was only used as a bulking agent, which accelerated the mass transfer rate of water, oxygen, nutrients and hydrocarbons, and provided nutrition for the microflora. Dehydrogenase activity in soil was remarkably enhanced by the application of carrier material. Metabolites of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons were identified by Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry. © 2010 Elsevier B.V.

Lead-free piezoelectric ceramics (Ba0.92Ca0.08) (Ti0.95Zr0.05)O3-xmol%Mn (BCTZ-xMn) were synthesized by a traditional solid-state reaction. Effects of Mn addition on the microstructure and electrical properties of ceramics were investigated in the composition range of 0 ≤ x ≤ 2.2. High mechanical quality factor of Qm = 921 and low dielectric loss of tanδ = 0.3% have been obtained at x = 2.0. With the increase of Mn content, the piezoelectric constant d33 and planar electromechanical coupling coefficient kp decrease with deviation from the polymorphic phase transition (PPT) region, and the Curie temperature TC gradually decreases. The relative high d33, k p and TC still maintain about 224 pC/N, 33.6% and 102 °C at x = 2.0, respectively. These results indicate that the BCTZ-xMn ceramics are promising candidate for the lead-free piezoelectric applications. © 2013 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.s.

The paper took 2080 tons automatic hydraulic tile press as the research object, completed the finite element static analysis of its beam and base. Established their three-dimensional models with CAD software Pro/ENGINEER, and then analyzed the stress and transfiguration with CAE software ANSYS. Studied the distribution of the stress and strain, and found their maximum and location. Using the hardware of motion controller?IPC ? stepping motor system and so on , we develop a kind of plane curve welder. The welder adopt DLL of windows and multithreading software development technique, so it can meet the needs of plane curve weld bead, further more, software system of plane curve welder use modular design, some module are of generality. AutoCAD VBA software package use point-by-point comparison method, which guaranteed welding gun keeping superposition with normal of welding curve in welding process. For on-line monitoring and controlling the quality of resistance spot welding, we design a high speed data acquisition and spot welding signal processing system. System hardware, which are made up of PLC 1800 high speed data acquisition card?current sensor?voltage sensor?signal adjust circuit and IPC, is mainly responsible for A/D conversion and data acquisition; software system are mostly made up of data acquisition and memory module? wavelet filtering of digit signal module?U-I image and energy analyze module in electric signal of spot welding , which realize the data acquisition and processing base on welding current?electrode voltage?welding cycle. The experimental result showed that U-I image shape of different material are markedly dissimilar in spot welding , according to U-I image we can check if welding current and electrode voltage are normal in welding process or not, and through U-I image we can read the input energy of every U-I curve half-cycle and judge spot welding quality. Therefore, we can take U-I image monitoring method in spot welding quality monitoring of different material. © 2011 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
